{"id":188,"date":"2012-07-09T18:15:02","date_gmt":"2012-07-09T22:15:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.abdicate.net\/blog\/?p=188"},"modified":"2012-07-09T18:15:02","modified_gmt":"2012-07-09T22:15:02","slug":"paleo-hebrew","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abdicate.net\/blog\/?p=188","title":{"rendered":"Paleo-Hebrew"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After learning about this awesome gem concerning the ancient Hebrew language, I had to learn more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.abdicate.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/aleftav.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-189 alignleft\" title=\"Aleph and Tav (right to left)\" src=\"http:\/\/www.abdicate.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/aleftav.jpg\" alt=\"Aleph and Tav (right to left)\" width=\"218\" height=\"126\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hebrew is a very rich language. The only other language that has a similar depth of complexity is chemistry. If I write H<sub>2<\/sub>O or NaCl you would say they are <em>water<\/em> and <em>table salt<\/em>. If you have enough understanding of chemistry to identify them by their chemical annotations, then you also know that H<sub>2<\/sub>O has an electrical charge, a weight, a shape, and consists of three atoms, two hydrogen and one oxygen, and that they individually have properties worth exploring.<\/p>\n<p>The Jews believe that the first thing God created is alef and tav (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0\u05ea<\/span>), the first and last letter of the Hebrew alphabet (alef-beyt). Each letter has a meaning all its own. When combined with other letters they paint a picture of the meaning of the word. Bethlehem (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d1\u05d9\u05ea \u05dc\u05d7\u05dd<\/span>) means &#8220;House of Bread&#8221;, Bethel (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d1\u05d9\u05ea \u05d0\u05dc<\/span>) means &#8220;House of God&#8221; (reading right to left). \u00a0Notice that the last letter, &#8220;Tav&#8221; means &#8220;mark, sign or covenant&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Now the first (Alef <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0<\/span>)\u00a0and last letter (Tav <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05ea<\/span>) together have no English meaning, but Hebrew scholars says it&#8217;s used to link an object to a verb. If you were in the Genesis 1:1 sentence looking at the reader, the\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0\u05ea<\/span>\u00a0is on the right hand of God (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0\u05b1\u05dc\u05b9\u05d4\u05b4\u05d9\u05dd<\/span>)! Who is seated on the right hand of God?<sup>a<\/sup>\u00a0Jesus, the Alpha and Omega, the Alef and Tav!<\/p>\n<p><sup>a\u00a0<\/sup><strong>Mark 16:19\u00a0<\/strong><em>&#8220;So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In this first verse of Genesis you see that \u201c<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0\u05ea<\/span>\u201d surrounds the word for \u201cHeavens\u201d and there\u2019s that vav in the second \u201c<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0\u05ea<\/span>\u201d and is translated as \u201cand\u201d because it \u201chooks\u201d Heaven <em>and<\/em> Earth together. Jesus is the \u201cConnector\u201d, the vav, the Man, between Heaven and Earth, even testifying to the manner in how the connection would be done \u2013 via the cross! Since God \u201cspoke\u201d everything into existence it\u2019s an amazing picture image within the written text that Jesus, the Alef and Tav (Alpha and Omega), the Beginning and the End, is the Creator. It is the hint of what was to come when the Word would become flesh, indeed the Word of God made flesh. In Genesis 1:1, the letter vav combines with Alef and Tav to show the Sign of the Lord of History, the One Mediator, the Man Christ Jesus, the Living Word \u2013 to connect Heaven and Earth in the most literal sense. The culmination of all history revealed in the Final Book prophesied in the pattern of Hebrew letters in the first verse of the First Book! Hebrew used to use pictographs like the Egyptian hieroglyphics. See the end to view a chart of each letter in paleo-Hebrew.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the pictograph form of those two letters (right to left):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.abdicate.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/paleo_et3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-203\" title=\"paleo_et\" src=\"http:\/\/www.abdicate.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/paleo_et3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"90\" height=\"16\" \/><\/a>The symbols have the meaning of: an ox head and a cross; a sacrifice on the cross; a strong mark; first covenant. Twice in the first verse of Scriptures, you have the plan of salvation! Scripture is replete with signs, gems, and guides you to Jesus; you just have to search them out! When we were kids and we wanted to make a pact, we\u2019d spit in our hands and shake. In Hebrew <em>Covenant<\/em> is (brit &#8211;\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d1\u05bc\u05e8\u05d9\u05ea<\/span>) and <em>reveal<\/em> is (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e2<\/span>) which when combined is <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e2\u05d1\u05bc\u05e8\u05d9\u05ea<\/span> and that is the word for <strong><em>Hebrew<\/em> <\/strong>or in paleo-Hebrew\u00a0<strong><em>Covenant Revealed<\/em><\/strong>!! Wait! There\u2019s still more. Let\u2019s look at the paleo-Hebrew letters for the word <strong><em>Hebrew <\/em><\/strong> (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e2\u05d1\u05bc\u05e8\u05d9\u05ea<\/span>):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0\u201cSee (ayin <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e2<\/span>), in (beyt <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d1\u05bc<\/span>), man (resh <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e8<\/span>), hand (yod <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d9<\/span>), mark (tav <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05ea<\/span>)\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Whose hand is marked that we need to see!? Jesus \u2013 the Savior!
