The name of God given to Moses is \u05d9\u05d4\u05d5\u05d4<\/span> (reading right to left) – yod (\u05d9<\/span>) hey (\u05d4<\/span>) vav (\u05d5<\/span>) hey (\u05d4<\/span>). In the KJV Bible it’s the all-upper case word LORD. When the Jews come to this word in the Scripture, they\u00a0substitute\u00a0the Name with “Adonia” (\u05d0\u05d3\u05d5\u05df<\/span>) which means “Lord” so as not to mispronounce the Name of God. The problem is, now they don’t know how to pronounce it. The reason this happened is because there are no vowels in Hebrew, which brings about the pronunciation. However, to say Judah (\u05d9\u05d4\u05d5\u05d3\u05d4<\/span>) in Hebrew it’s pronounce “ya-hoo-da”, so if you remove the “d” (\u05d3<\/span>) you get the Name of God, “ya-hoo-ah”, which seems correct to me.<\/p>\n
