I&#8217;ve highlighted the Hebrew letter hey (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>) so you can take note of the letter and its transformation on the meaning of the words. To see why the hey (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>) is Grace, read my previous post:\u00a0<a title=\"Grace and Five\" href=\"https:\/\/abdicate.net\/blog\/?p=293\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/abdicate.net\/blog\/?p=293\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Abram \u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0\u05d1\u05e8\u05dd<\/span> meaning \u201cHigh Father\u201d but Abram\u00a0couldn&#8217;t\u00a0have children.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Sarai \u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e9\u05e8\u05d9<\/span> meaning \u201cMy Lord\u201d or &#8220;My Prince&#8221; and shows her dominance. But Sarai couldn&#8217;t have children.<\/p>\n<p>Abraham \u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0\u05d1\u05e8<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>\u05dd<\/span> God took <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span> from His Name Yahuah (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d9<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>\u05d5<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span><\/span>) and gave it to Abram making him <em>Abraham<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah \u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e9\u05e8<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span><\/span> Likewise God substituted the yod (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d9<\/span>) in Sarai for the hey <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span> from His Name (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d9<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>\u05d5<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span><\/span>) making her a <i>Princess <\/i>(the meaning of Sarah)!<\/p>\n<p>After grace (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>) was introduced, within a year later, Abraham and Sarah, had Isaac! Notice too that in Abram the words and symbols of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are present (see below) but not grace (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>), so no blessing. When God put grace (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>)\u00a0into Abraham and Sarah they had Isaac. Also the plan of salvation is now visible, being on this side of time of the cross.<\/p>\n<p>The Father <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">sent<\/span> the Son:<\/p>\n<p><b>1 John 4:14 (KJV) <\/b>And we have seen and do testify that the Father <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">sent<\/span> the Son [<i>to be<\/i>] the Saviour of the world.<\/p>\n<p>Father \u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: red;\">\u05d0\u05d1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e8\u05d4\u05dd<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Son \u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d1\u05e8<\/span>\u05d4\u05dd<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jesus, the Son, brought Grace and Truth:<\/p>\n<p><b>John 1:17 (KJV) <\/b>For the law was given by Moses, [<i>but<\/i>] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Grace \u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0\u05d1\u05e8<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>\u05dd<\/span><\/p>\n<p>After Jesus was Glorified, the Holy Spirit was sent:<\/p>\n<p><b>Galatians 3:14 (KJV) <\/b>That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.<\/p>\n<p><b>Galatians 4:6 (KJV) <\/b>And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.<\/p>\n<p>Holy Spirit \u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0\u05d1\u05e8\u05d4<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05dd<\/span><\/span>\u00a0The letter mem (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05dd<\/span>) represents <em>water<\/em> and means the Holy Spirit because the Spirit brings forth living waters through Jesus\u2019 work (John 7:38) and He moved upon the waters at Creation (Genesis 1:2).<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Notice the order in Abraham\u2019s name: Father (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0\u05d1<\/span>), Son (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d1\u05e8<\/span>), Grace (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d4<\/span>), Holy Spirit (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05dd<\/span>), the execution of God&#8217;s plan for mankind. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Also notice that the yod (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d9<\/span>) from Sarai&#8217;s name has a numeric value of 10 whereas the letter hey (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>) has the numeric value of 5. The Ten were replaced by Grace!<\/p>\n<p>Bless \u2013 <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d1\u05e8<\/span>\u05db<\/span> \u2013 barak and contains the word for Son (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d1\u05e8<\/span>) and the letter kaf (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05db<\/span>) has the meaning of <em>open hand.<\/em> So the Son offers His hand, but what is in His hand? To receive a BLESSING (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d1\u05e8\u05db<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span><\/span>) you add the letter hey (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>)! The first time the word \u201cblessing\u201d is used is where God is speaking to Abram just before changing his name:<\/p>\n<p><b>Genesis 12:2 (KJV) <\/b>And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:<\/p>\n<p>And indeed the Seed of Abraham is a Blessing of Grace to the whole world! Jesus Who brought Grace and Truth!<\/p>\n<p><b>Genesis 22:17-18 (KJV) <\/b>That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [<i>is<\/i>] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.<\/p>\n<p><b>John 1:17 (KJV) <\/b>For the law was given by Moses, [<i>but<\/i>] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>So now let\u2019s look at the process involved in accepting this Gift from God.<\/p>\n<p><b>Isaiah 30:15 (KJV) <\/b>For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength:&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The word \u201creturning\u201d is the same word for \u201crepent\u201d in Hebrew, and in the Greek it\u00a0literally means to <em>change your mind<\/em> \u00a0(<em>meta<\/em> \u2013 change \u2013\u00a0<em>noeho<\/em> \u2013 mind; <em>metanoeho<\/em>\u00a0means <strong><em>repent<\/em><\/strong>). In the verse above, the word \u201creturning\u201d is <em>shuba<\/em> (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e9\u05d5\u05d1<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span><\/span>) and if you remove the hey (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>) you get the word for \u201creturn\u201d &#8211; <em>shub<\/em> (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e9\u05d5\u05d1<\/span>). So when we \u201creturn\u201d we are \u201creturning\u201d to Grace (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>The letter chet (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d7<\/span>) has the meaning of \u201cfence\u201d. Remember this for later.<\/p>\n<p>Heal \u2013\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e8\u05e4\u05d0<\/span>\u00a0means <em>rafa<\/em> and the letters have the meaning of head (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e8<\/span>) mouth (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e4<\/span>) and sacrifice (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d0<\/span>). So \u201cthinking\u201d on the Sacrifice and \u201cspeaking\u201d of the Sacrifice is to HEAL. Now each word has a root word from which it stems. Rafa\u2019s root word is rafah (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05e8\u05e4<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span><\/span>) meaning to \u201crelax\u201d! Healing stems from relaxing, no worries, trusting in God\u2019s grace! Amazingly, look at the word for sick.<\/p>\n<p>Sick is <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u05d7<\/span>\u05dc<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<em>challah<\/em>\u00a0which contains that letter chet (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d7<\/span>) meaning to <em>fence<\/em>. The letter lamed (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05dc<\/span>) means to <em>learn<\/em>. So to <em>fence<\/em> one off from <em>learning<\/em> Grace (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%; color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>) is to be sick (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d7\u05dc<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span><\/span>)!<\/p>\n<p>How to overcome this world and rely on God and His Grace:<\/p>\n<p>Meditate <span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span>\u05d2<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u05d4<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<em>haga<\/em> meaning \u201cto mutter\u201d as in to meditate on God\u2019s Word mumbling His Word under your breath. The letter gimmel (<span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-size: 150%;\">\u05d2<\/span>) has the meaning of a <em>camel<\/em>, and a camel is used to transport things. So the letter meaning of\u00a0<em>haga<\/em>\u00a0is to transport from God\u2019s Word His Grace into us! Grace transported Grace from His word to our hearts! This is proven by Paul in the verse below.<\/p>\n<p><b>Romans 10:17 (KJV) <\/b>So then faith [<i>cometh<\/i>] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.<\/p>\n<p><b>John 1:16 (KJV) <\/b>And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.<\/p>\n<p>This verse in the Greek, the word \u201cfor\u201d is actually \u201canti\u201d meaning \u201csubstitution\u201d which means that when Grace runs out, there is more Grace to take its place!<\/p>\n<p><b>Romans 5:17 (KJV) <\/b>For if by one man&#8217;s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)<\/p>\n<p>The word \u201cabundance\u201d in the Greek is <em>perisseia<\/em> and means <em>superabundance<\/em> and <em>superior<\/em> in quality! And if that wasn&#8217;t enough, the Gift of Righteousness by Jesus Christ is given too! What is this for? The promise you SHALL REIGN in LIFE! Now! Here on Earth! How can you reign if you&#8217;re sick, if you&#8217;re\u00a0destitute? Call on Jesus and Believe!<\/p>\n<p><b>John 10:10 (KJV) <\/b>The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [<i>it<\/i>] more abundantly <em>(perisseia!)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Praise God for His abundance of Grace and the power He has!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I want to continue to show you the power of Grace, the Person, Jesus Christ, in the names and actions of the Hebrew Scriptures.
