Is Scripture Real?

I’m preaching to myself. I’m trying to reconcile a truth and a fact. The scriptures declare one thing, but reality says something else. The one is diametrically opposed to the other. I’m not looking for reasons or excuses, but how to grab onto the truth of the scriptures. Isn’t that the very definition of faith?

Truth: Jesus suffered lashes for our health. Isa 53:5; 1 Pet 2:24

Fact: Why would we be sick if He paid for them?

Dogma: “God said ‘no’.” “God said ‘wait’.” “Miracles don’t happen today.”

Time to break it down (for myself) —

Faith:

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1 (ESV)

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Assurance: a positive declaration intended to give confidence; a promise.
Conviction: a firmly held belief or opinion.

Greek:

substance: that which has actual existence
evidence: a proof, that by which a thing is proved or tested

“Now faith is that which has actual existence of things hoped for, the proof of things not seen.”

Faith is something tangible.
Faith is the proof of things not seen.

Hmmm… reminds me of the account of Elijah. He spoke the promise of no rain, he didn’t “pray” about it, he just declared it. At the end of 3.5 years of no rain he cried out seven times for it to rain, falling on the ground each time, a big show. But in the NT, the same event is counted differently. According to the NT, the first was an “earnest prayer” and the second was just “prayer”. The first “prayer” had more “power” than the second. But if you read the story in the OT it’s the other way around.

Hmmm…

Romans 4:17-18 (ESV2011)

as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist. In hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, “So shall your offspring be.”

There’s that “things” again. Hmmm… a drought didn’t exist until Elijah declared it so. Abraham, praying that Abimelech would be healed of barrenness, whereas Abraham (Sarah) was still barren, Abimelech was healed. Then Abraham (Sarah) was healed. God spoke everything into existence. It never existed before He spoke. Noah said it was going to rain, it had never rained before.

Abraham had God’s promise and he hoped against hope and then:

Romans 4:19-22 (ESV2011)

He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb. No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.”

There it is! #1 no unbelief made him waver. Though he had unbelief, he didn’t let it affect him. He was firm in his conviction. #2 promises of God. #3 he grew stronger in faith looking at God’s promises. #4 he gave God the glory. In all things give thanks to the Lord. #5 fully convinced! Or as the KJV says “being fully persuaded”, well now! Persuaded. This word persuaded in the Greek is the exact same word in Heb 11:1 for evidence!

This reasoning reminds me of this verse:

Isaiah 1:18 (KJV)

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Guess what!? The word “reason together” in the Greek Septuagint, is that exact same Greek word above: evidence and persuade! If we have reason about our salvation, the truth holds for all the rest. Just two verses before our definition of faith is this verse:

Hebrews 10:38 (KJV)

Now the just shall live by faith: but if [any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

And that verse reminds me of a few verses before this one:

Hebrews 10:23 (KJV)

Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised; )

and then this one!

Hebrews 4:14 (KJV)

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession.

“Hold fast” in these verses is:

1. to have power, be powerful

a. to be chief, be master of, to rule

2. to get possession of

a. to become master of, to obtain
b. to take hold of
c. to take hold of, take, seize

Which reminds me of this verse:

Matthew 11:12 (KJV)

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth* violence, and the violent** take it by force.

* suffereth…: or, is gotten by force, and they that thrust men, or has been coming violently
** strong, forceful, using force, violent

Hmmm…. #1 be “fully persuaded” #2 take by force the kingdom of heaven

Hmmm…. reminds me of this verse:

Luke 16:16 (KJV)

The law and the prophets [were] until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth* into it.

* same word as taking by force in Matthew 11:12

This reminds me of this verse:

Hebrews 4:11 (KJV)

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Wait! What!? Labor to enter that rest! Labour: to exert one’s self, endeavour, give diligence

And that reminds me of this verse:

Hebrews 3:12 (KJV)

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Evil heart is actually “full of labours, annoyances, hardships”… oh wow!!! A heart filled with annoyances – “I’m sick”, “I’m in debt”, “I’m [fill-in-the-blank]” – causes us unbelief, which causes us to depart from God’s presence. “The just shall live by faith.”

This reminds me of these:

2 Corinthians 9:8 (KJV)

And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work:

Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Oh Lord my God! How great Thou art!! Let me be fully persuaded!!!

I shall live by faith!

Assurance: a positive declaration intended to give confidence; a promise.
Conviction: a firmly held belief or opinion.

I AM HEALED!

HALLELUJAH!!! Amen! Done!

2015 – Year of [more] Judgement

On 9/11/2015, if the shmita patterns are true, the market will crash. This got me to thinking about when this all started.

9/11 was certainly a judgment on America, not wrath. Judgment calls for repentance and brings hope for those that repent whereas wrath is final. This date is without a doubt the turning point of America and our freedoms. While we’ve been slipping from Grace, this date is the start or beginning, of judgment of America. Greek and Hebrew letters double as numbers, A=1, B=2, C=3, etc. and the word for beginning is ראשׁית (reshit) and has the numeric value of 911! ראשׁית letter values are (right to left) 200+1+300+10+400.

Some more 911 words from the scriptures are: spy (κατασκοπησαι), flight (φυγη), hour (ωραι), bring (αξων), sedition (στασις), tidings (φασις), judgment (γνωμηι), scarlet (התולעת), officer (υπηρετηι), abstain (απεχεσθαι), sin (αμαρτησασιν), weep (κλαιων), be (παρουσιν), sackcloth (σακκους), until (αχρις), grace (χαρις).

Spy [out the] flight [in the] hour [it] brings [in] sedition, tidings [of] judgment [to] scalet officers. Abstain [from] sin, weep [and] be [in] sackcloth until grace [appears].

It is amazing how these biblical words form such an amazing thought. 343 firefighters (scarlet officers) died on 9/11! A judgment on America, a call to repent. But in any judgment there is hope, see the next set of 911 words below!

speak (λαλων), make (ελυμαινετο), others (αλλων), follow (ηκολουθησαμεν), remnant (שארית), betroth (ארשתי), leave (תשאיר), possess (הורשת), wondrous (תתפלא), overflow (ותשקקה), Tikvath (תוקהת – a proper name meaning hope and in Modern Hebrew means sweet), hope (תקותה), Aenon (αινων – meaning springs from the Hebrew word for eye, to see), Jonan (ιωναν – ancestor of Jesus, meaning Jehovah is a gracious giver).

Speak [and] make others follow [God’s] remnant. [The] betrothed [will] leave [to] possess wondrous overflow [of] sweet hope. See [how] Jehovah is a gracious giver.

In the full list of 911 words from the scriptures the only three remaining are: Syria (συριας), and thousand (χιλιασιν).

Even in tragedy is God’s plan of salvation written.

Proverbs 25:2 (KJV)
[It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter.

Pro 9:10 (interesting!) “Beginning of Wisdom” (תחלת חכמה – techlet hokmah) comes to the value of 911! Only two other phrases sum to 911 in the scriptures, “the apostles” and “foundations of heaven”. No sentence in the scriptures sums to 911.

The number 9 symbolizes divine completeness or conveys the meaning of finality.

The number 11 coming after 10 (which represents law and responsibility), the number eleven represents the opposite – the irresponsibility of breaking the Law, which brings disorder and judgment. In the U.S. to call for an emergency is 911.

  • Genesis 11 men rebelled against God.
  • New York City and Afghanistan both have 11 letters.
  • The name George W. Bush has 11 letters.
  • The Twin Towers formed a giant 11.
  • The 11th state in the union – New York, July 26, 1788
  • The first plane to hit the towers – Flight #11
  • Flight 11 had 92 souls on board (9+2= 11), 81 (8+1=9) passengers and 11 crew members, “9” & 11. (I know this one is a stretch, but it fits.)
  • The Pentagon has 11 letters.
  • Flight 93 crashed in Shanksville, PA (11 letters in the town’s name).
  • Flight 93 had 44 souls on board with a prime factor of 2 x 2 x 11.

189 people died on Flight 77 and in the Pentagon: prime factor of 3 x 3 x 3 x 7
2753 people died on 9/11 in New York. Both numbers are prime numbers (911).
Firefighters who died: 343 with a prime factor of 7 x 7 x 7.
Police Officers who died: 23 a prime number.
Port Authority Officers who died: 37 a prime number.

At what point does coincidence turn into a truth…

DNA

I believe we can (and should) prophecy as the Lord leads. I’ve done it twice and my wife has books of writings the Lord’s given her since 1993. She told me to sell the house (we weren’t using it) in 2006… I bought at $192k and sold for $427k. By 2008 it wasn’t worth $220k! My wife prophesied over a friend, who already had 3 miscarriages due to blood mismatch of her and her husband, that they’d have 2 children a girl and a boy. The girl was born ~10 months later and the boy ~15 months after that.

I love to study DNA. DNA is the media in which the information is stored, just like 1’s and 0’s on a DVD. When one buys the DVD for $19.95, are they buying the 20-cent piece of plastic? No. They’re buying the information. Information is non-material. That’s what our DNA is, the DVD that carries the information. A DVD can store the Hallelujah Chorus or porn videos. In our DNA are the experiences, those of our parents, our grandparents, etc. and we have the ability to affect our DNA, science has proven this. Our surroundings affect our DNA, what we consume affects our DNA. The first failure of mankind was do to DNA – Adam ate the fruit and sinned. That fruit contained the information for sin! That consumption passed the sin down through DNA to each one of us via the male of the family. Now you understand the virgin birth! The renewing of our minds brings renewal of our DNA. Whatsoever a man thinks, so is he, Pro 23:7a. God Himself said that whatever a man imagines, so it’ll be, Gen 11:6 and Paul says to control those imaginations against the truth of the word of God, 2 Cor 10:5-6. Our brains are but only a CPU that forms judgements which are stored in our hearts. Our heart is not just the bio-pump in our chest but every cell in our body containing DNA – our inherited and experienced lives – what we BELIEVE. So to change your “dirty” DNA to “pure” DNA you must repent. God isn’t interested in behavioral modification, but heart transformation! “I can guilt you into tithing 10%, but I can’t guilt you into being generous. I can guilt you into working at a soup kitchen but I can’t guilt you into compassion.” (Bill Johnson said that.)

Indeed the word of God is written IN our HEARTS literally(!) from the foundation of the earth, Rom 2:15, and the word of God is our bread, Matt 4:4. These are not mere metaphors, but reality! Miracles happen TODAY. What happened to the woman with mismatched blood? What changed? Her DNA! My wife was healed when only SHE knew she was sick. Another asked her and I had to translate! I never knew so my friend couldn’t have known having only just that minute met my wife. The Holy Spirit told them! HOW did my wife get healed? “Through prayer and God’s touch.” Yes, but what did He change? The DNA in the affected cells! Come on folks, stop being so fearful! EXPERIENCE God, don’t follow Him like a historical figure like George Washington. What do you think happens when you “change your minds”, aka repent? Cells get rearranged, electrical impulses alter direction, and DNA is changed! Dirty DNA for Clean DNA! Knowing HOW it happens doesn’t produce faith. Believe God’s word in faith and through that faith you’ll see for yourself!

Another step forward in this… What did God do first? He spoke. Literally? Why not! Speaking generates frequencies. You listen to music you hear the combination of voice (frequency) in harmony with an instrument (frequency) and you FEEL it inside you! Turn up the volume and the pencil on the desk feels it! Everything created has a frequency. A crystal glass can shatter at a specific frequency. X-Rays are a frequency that can kill. You use a device that uses a frequency tuned specifically to the frequency of water molecules to get them excited to release energy, thereby heating up your food – a microwave! A handful of powdered uranium when processed can electrify a city and kill everyone in it if exposed to its frequency! How does faith come? By HEARING the word of God! Not “heard”, but hearing, continually. Why? To reprogram the information within us! What information is that? DNA! Hallelujah! What’s it changing in us? FAITH! What is Faith? The EVIDENCE of things not seen! HA! Faith is a substance! Heb 11:1! Joshua was warned not to let the word of the book depart from his lips but to MEDITATE (mutter, mumble, SPEAK in Hebrew) day and night! Why? To build his faith by HEARING the word of God!! WHOA!! Glory to God! Studies show living matter responds differently to Chopin compared to AC DC. What’s the difference? Harmony vs. Disharmony. Differences in frequencies! The TV shows you watch changes your DNA! A proven fact. Children growing up with TV have a 10% drop in IQ compared to those that grew up without a TV! What was the difference? Programmed DNA!

We all believe the stories in the word of God, a collection of books about the various snapshots of events in man’s life through God’s eyes, yet, we’re sadly the first to dismiss it when those same events appear right in front of our eyes! This is why God remains elusive to so many. “If ONLY God would… [fill in the blank]… I’d believe.” No you wouldn’t! It takes faith. We all have the same amount of faith. No where does it say we’re to pray FOR faith, but to make it GROW. A seed grows! Seed contain – wait for it – DNA! We all believe in something. We just have to change our minds and get it in TUNE with God’s word. Change our frequency from negative to positive towards God! To the pure all things are pure! Titus 1:15. That’s what Job did. He blamed God for his troubles… sound familiar? It only took 42 chapters to change his mind, to have him repent, Job 42:5-6. Just because you don’t believe, don’t berate those that believe. The word of God says “heart” we call it now “DNA”. PotAto POtato… ;)

 Moseying on out… Glory to God!!! Praise His mighty work! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:  :ROFLMAO:

What good are the scriptures?

The scriptures are just a map to get one to the person of Jesus from wherever their starting point is. The scriptures are a photo album filled with snapshots of humanity over time. Every example is for our edification, to get us closer to God. No part of it is irrelevant, and where there seems to be contradictions (“Keep the Law!!” vs. “You’re free from the Law!!”) is the same as that of gravity vs. flying. One law supersedes another law. The scriptures are merely a book about life. Life is what you want, not stories about it. As with a photo album, it cannot capture the wonder of the reality. If I show you a picture of the Grand Canyon you’d say “Wow! That’s beautiful!” but if you go to the Grand Canyon you’d say “WOW!! I had no idea! Word’s can’t express the beauty!”, that’s what the scriptures are to the truth. It’s like saying, “Mt. Everest is a mountain.”, a true fact, but until you’re there and experience it for yourself, that’s all it’ll be to you, a fact. Once you experience the power of the realm of the Kingdom of Heaven, you’re just quoting facts.

As to the societies vs. the word of God, anyone who is wronged in their own eyes demands justice. That’s not a society-taught belief, but an ingrained part of who we are apart from society. We can teach our kids stealing is ok, but when they become the victim, even if society says it’s ok, they’re going to feel wronged. That’s because the very word of God isn’t just written on paper, but written on our very hearts. Atheists, when all accusations are answered, still reject God because if they recognized God as God, they’d have to listen and obey God. They want to stay right in their own eyes. DNA proves God. The atoms in DNA are just letters, but it takes a Mind to write out a narrative. Information is non-material, so it cannot just appear no more than the letters randomly appearing to produce this intelligent response. The scriptures say that God created everything with Wisdom and no matter what science is used, in the end they all must conclude that a Mind was involved with existence, because one clue leads to another and then to another and to yet more until there’s nothing left but the Mind. They call it metaphysics – the study of thought/being – which is really the study of God Almighty, the Mind they cannot escape. Look up Ravi Zacharias is you want more on how simple logic dictates God’s existence.

God’s Appointed Times

Have you ever seen events that happen on God’s calendar?

Genesis 1:14 (KJV)
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

I have a slight issue with “for seasons” because in the Hebrew, it’s really “appointed times”. Man hadn’t fallen yet, there were no seasons – he was naked! Here’s the word in Hebrew:

– Original: מועד
– Transliteration: Mow`ed
– Phonetic: mo-ade’
– Definition:
1. appointed place, appointed time, meeting
a. appointed time
1. appointed time (general)
2. sacred season, set feast, appointed season
b. appointed meeting
c. appointed place
d. appointed sign or signal
e. tent of meeting

Here’s just the last 30 days (since the beginning of the current Sabbath year – shmita):

• 23 Sep 2014: US attacks ISIS in Syria, #1 (29 Elul 5774 – last day of the year)
• 24 Sep 2014:

• Start of Sabbath year,
• Solar Eclipse,
• Feast of Trumpets,
• Thomas Eric Duncan shows first symptoms of Ebola, #2

• 25 Sep 2014: Duncan went to the emergency room of Texas Health Presbyterian in Dallas, but was sent home, #3
• 08 Oct 2014:

• 2nd blood moon,
• Feast of Tabernacles,
• Duncan dies of Ebola @ 7:51am CST, #4

• 08 Oct 2014: China surpasses US as world’s largest economy based on key measure, #5
• 15 Oct 2014:

• End of Feast of Tabernacles,
• a second Ebola victim confirmed – the nurse that helped Mr. Duncan, #6

Stocks:

Sep 24 is closed @ 17056.13 – (Oct 15) 16138.68 = 917.45 from start of Shmita to end of Feast of tabernacles! #7

• 19 Oct 2014: Comet makes rare close pass by Mars as spacecraft watch #8
• 23 Oct 2014:

• Last day of Tishri (30 Tishri 5775)
• A partial solar eclipse occurred, #9.
• Tishri started with a solar eclipse.
• First case of Ebola in NYC confirmed, @ 11:53 PM – 23 Oct 2014, #10.

Still not seeing it? Here’s the last two “Sabbath” years (shmita is 7 years) :

Pattern:
• 9/11/2001: Terrorist attack around 9am, #1 (23 Elul 5761), 7 buildings (all world trade center) destroyed, #2
• 9/17/2001: Stock market loses 7% (684 points) in first day of trading after 9/11, #3, (29 Elul 5761, last day of shmita)

• 9/28/2008: Congress does not pass $700 billion bailout, #4
• 9/29/2008: at 4pm stocks close with a slide of 777 points, #5, (29 Elul 5768, last day of the shmita)

• Date difference from terror attack to 2008 market crash: 7 years, 6 days (Jewish dates), 7 hours
• Date difference from 2001 crash to 2008 crash: 7 years to the minute!
• Market closed at 9,605.51 on Sept. 10, 2001, #6, and could not open until the 17th when it fell 7%, and exactly 8 years later on 9/11/2009 it was only 10 cents off closing at 9,605.41, #6. (Notice the math: 9,6+5 = 9/11)

Other notable facts:
Washington Dedicated the United States to God on April 30, 1789, #7, in the Federal Hall (destroyed in 1812), 26 Wall Street (across the street from the NY Stock Exchange, and 4 blocks from the site of the 9/11 attacks). The foundation of Federal Hall was cracked by the 9/11 attacks, #8.

The One World Trade Tower started in August 25, 1966, (9 Elul 5726) a shmita, completed Hanukah (25 Kislev 5731), December 23, 1970, and was the tallest tower in the world until 1973 (a shmita). Destroyed 9/11/01 (23 Elul 5761), exactly 5 shmitas two weeks later! (35 years (5×7), 14 days (7+7)).

Shmitas are for the sign of rise or fall of nations. The Berlin Victory Parade of 1945 was held by the Allies of World War II on September 7, 1945 in Berlin, the capital of the defeated Nazi Germany, #9. That day is 29 Elul 5705, the last day of the shmita.

America’s rise as a super power began when we joined WWI, which was on April 6, 1917, #10. That day is Passover, 14 Nisan 5677, in a shmita. America’s turn downward is in Jan 22, 1973, a shmita, when it legalizes abortion, #11, 5 days later, Jan 27, 1973, it’s declared that we lost the War in Vietnam, #12.

9/11 was a judgment on America, not wrath. Judgment calls for repentance and brings hope for those that repent, Heb 12:8, whereas wrath is final. This date is without a doubt the turning point of America and our freedoms. While we’ve been slipping from Grace, this date is the start or beginning, of the judgment of America. In Hebrew, beginning, start is “ראשׁית” and its gematria (number value for the letter, A=1, B=2, C=3, etc.) is 911 (200+1+300+10+400)!

I’ve shown the facts above, so watch out for the next crash, if these patterns hold, will occur on 9/11/2015, the last day the market is open in this shmita. A coincident? Rabbi Cahn made me do my own homework. I hope you do your own too. Look at the birthdate of America and what it means in God’s calendar. I put all the dates of the Tetrads (4 blood moons) in a study http://abdicate.net/blog/?p=410 (did you know there was a beginning of them!? And there’s an end too!). I also found a timeline, http://abdicate.net/blog/?p=449 of Hosea 6:2 because of the Tetrad study, and I found a Jewish Rabbi from 1214 AD that predicted the date of Israel’s birth and the fall of the Ottoman Empire: http://abdicate.net/blog/?p=431

At what point does coincidence turn into truth…as you know, the truth has no agenda.

I hope you enjoyed this.

Death to Self

Frustrated by life and your actions contrary to the word of God? Dying to one’s self is an easy fix, but not an easy answer to express so I hope you take the time to read and then reread this article. First, don’t think what’s happening to you is an isolated case, 1 Peter 4:12-19. Next, when you feel like you’re in Romans 7, the “things I don’t want to do I do, and the things I want to do I don’t”, even Paul yells out: “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” But thank God there’s another verse after this one and it’s the key to your problem: “I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”

As a Christian you’re a new creation, 2 Cor 5:17, but we still have to fight our minds. Time for some definitions: the mind isn’t the brain matter between our ears. Our brain is just a processor that executes commands we’ve learned over the years from the world. After processing events, it generates a conclusion, a judgment, about the just-experienced event. That judgment, right or wrong, is stored in our mind, that is, our bodies. (Research cellular memory.) So that’s just hearsay, or science mumbo-jumbo right? Well let’s go to the word of God.

Proverbs 18:8 (KJV)
The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

So words are wounds. Words do hurt and they leave wounds. So we have the flesh, the old man (soul, mind, body), the word of God says, has been taught by the world all its life. Remember the little angel and the little devil on the shoulders of a guy on Saturday morning cartoons? Well sometimes that little devil is our own flesh speaking because of the training we’ve received or experienced. Those bad words (training, experience) are kept in our inward parts of our bodies. They sit there and fester and when the slightest bit of familiar nudging arrives, here come all the emotions, feelings, and thoughts from our previous judgments on the matter, reinforcing the negative.

So what is one to do? Simple, lay hold of the truth of the word of God and ask the Lord to reveal these hidden words within us.

Proverbs 20:27 (KJV)
The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.

Psalms 44:21 (KJV)
Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

David called out to God for help:

Psalms 139:23-24 (KJV)
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:And see if [there be any] wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Once the Lord reveals to you your feelings, acknowledge them and send them away. When the feeling of incompetence comes, you say with your mouth:

2 Peter 1:3-4 (KJV)
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Here it is, the truth, according to HIS power given to US ALL THINGS, through KNOWLEDGE! So now you must lay hold of this truth to be free and stay free. When those negative thoughts and feelings come up, you claim the TRUTH of God’s promises! Yes, it’s that simple. That’s what “forgive” meaning in Hebrew and Greek: to send away. “I don’t want those feelings anymore and by God’s power I have His promise that I am His, complete and whole.”

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

YOU and ONLY you can take this information and apply it to your life. Information isn’t the problem most people face, but the lack of applying the truth to their lives. You can do it because the SAME Spirit that was in Jesus while He was on this earth as a Man is in YOU! Learn to listen to Him.

1 John 2:27 (KJV)
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Now it’s up to you. What are you going to do with this template, this information? Are you going to apply it?

2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV)
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The word of God is a mirror showing us our smudges and dirt. It’s up to you to clean it off by the washcloth of His promises! This is the war we wrestle with!

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (KJV)
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Strongholds are those stored negative thoughts, feelings, emotions, and YOU must capture every thought and cast it down. EVERY thought!

Feast of Trumpets

Yom Teruah – יום תרועה– Day of Blowing

God gave us an appointment book, and called them feasts. It is very important to know them.

Leviticus 23:1-2 (KJV)
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, [Concerning] the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim [to be] holy convocations, [even] these [are] my feasts.

The word feast is actually the word mo’ed (מועד) meaning appointed time. The first time this is used is in Genesis 1:14 where in the KJV it’s translated seasons, it’s literally appointed times. Speaking of the sun and moon, God said, “…and let them be for signs, and for appointed times, and for days, and years”. Seasons, spring, summer, fall, winter, didn’t even exist until after the fall, maybe even after the flood! Islam uses just the lunar cycle for their calendar, the West uses only the solar cycle for their calendar, but the Jews still follow the instructions of God and use both the solar and lunar cycles for their calendar. Yet, they still missed His signs!

These feasts are to be proclaimed forever because they speak of the Lord Jesus, a dress rehearsal (the meaning of the word convocation is literallydress rehearsal!) of His life, so all can recognize Him.

  • Jesus was born on the Feast of Tabernacles, 15 Tishri
  • Jesus died on Passover, 14 Nisan
  • Jesus was buried on Feast of Unleavened Bread, 15 Nisan
  • Jesus rose from the dead on the Feast of First Fruits, 17 Nisan
  • God gave the Law to Moses and the Holy Spirit to the church on Pentecost, 6 Sivan

There are two feasts left, Feast of Trumpets, 1 Tishri and Day of Atonement, 10 Tishri. The Day of Atonement is when Jesus will do according to the meaning of the word: the reconciliation between God and man, and lift the curse and set up His kingdom on earth for 1000 years, Revelation 20:6. So what is the Feast of Trumpets?

Tishri is the name of the seventh month – originally was the first month until the Exodus when God changed the first month to Nisan, Exodus 12:2. Tishri 1 is when the calendar year changes number. It is not connected to any historical event, even after Jesus’ time on earth. The same is said for the Day of Atonement. Tishri 1 is also known as “the day in which no man can know the day or the hour” because it must be proclaimed. A hint from Jesus’ own words perhaps, Matthew 24:36. First, two witnesses need to see the new moon. Then the council will determine if the day (1 Tishri) falls on a Sabbath or causes any other feast day to fall on a Sabbath. If so, it is postponed until the next day or even a second day. Hence the reason no one can know the day or the hour! Now 1 Tishri, because of the diaspora, dispersing of the Jews to Babylon, this day is also called the One Long Day because they’d light fires to notify the next hill who’d like a fire to the next hill, all the way to Babylon. As such, no one knows the day or the hour in which it started. Even the devil doesn’t know when it begins, 1 Corinthians 2:8.

Leviticus 23:23-25 (KJV)
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first [day] of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Ye shall do no servile work [therein]: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

The trumpet wasn’t the brass ones you see today, but a ram’s horn. Four distinct sounds, or calls, were made with it. The first one is called Tekiah, the Blast, and means Awake and to Praise God with the Tekiah, Number 10:3. The next one is called the Shevarim, three blasts, meaning Broken, as in True Repentance, Broken before God, Numbers 10:5. The third one is called Teruah and means Alarm, Numbers 10:9. The sound is intended to alert the hearer to danger or an event. The fourth sound is called the Tekiah haGadolah and means the Great Blast, and is to be blown until out of breath, the long blast, Exodus 19:16, 19. You can hear them here http://abdicate.net/shofar.mp4 . The shofar is blow 100 times. The three sounds are blown and repeated 3 times making a series of 9 blasts. This is repeated 11 times, making 99 and the end, the Great Blast, is also known as the Last Trump! The last trump is Rosh haShana, the First Trump is known as Pentecost, Great Trump is the Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) because it is when the Year of Jubilee is declared.

Notice the progression of the types of trumps: Awake, Repent, Pay Attention, Event! This is also the meaning of these three fall feast:

  • 1 Tishri, Repent
  • 10 Tishri, Redeem
  • 15 Tishri, Rejoice!

1 Tishri has many names:

  • Rosh haShanna – Head of the Year
  • Yom Teruah – Day of Blowing
  • Yom haDin – the Day of Judgment
  • Yom haKeseh – the Hidden Day
  • Yom haKiddushin – Wedding Day
  • Yom haMelech – Day of the King
  • Yom Ziccaron Teruah – Day of Remembrance Blast
  • Opening of the Books
  • Opening of the Gates
  • Day of the Awakening Blast
  • Feast of Trumpets

No reason is given for this feast. Apparently, the reason was self-evident. In his book The Jewish Festivals, Rabbi S. M. Lehrman notes that Rosh haShanna is “…the picture of a Day of Judgment on which all mortals pass before the Heavenly Throne to give an account of their deeds and to receive the promise of mercy.” Just like the bailiff cries out “Hear ye! Hear ye! The Honorable Judge of the Universe presiding,” and beginning the ten days of trial. After which, man is reconciled to God, then God dwells with man! However, whereas this day is holy for His people, it is a gloomy day for those that reject God, Joel 2:1-2! Also check out Joel 1:15, Zeph 1:14-15, Amos 5:18.

For those that are His people, let’s look at the usage of the shofar (ram’s horn trumpet) in the scriptures:

Exodus 19:10-13 (KJV)
And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes, And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai. And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, [that ye] go [not] up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death: There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether [it be] beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.

Exodus 19:16-19 (KJV)
And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that [was] in the camp trembled. And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

In Joshua 6; we see that the city of Jericho was shut up and Israel could not possess the land.

Joshua 6:2-5 (KJV)
And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, [and] the mighty men of valour. And ye shall compass the city, all [ye] men of war, [and] go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear before the arkseven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long [blast] with the ram’s horn, [and] when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.

What an amazing picture these verses depict! Notice where else the shout and trumpet is used:

1 Corinthians 15:52-53 (KJV)
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (KJV)
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

What a comfort!!! Paul is quoting this verse:

Psalms 47:5-9 (KJV)
God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. For God [is] the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding. God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness. The princes of the people are gathered together, [even] the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth [belong] unto God: he is greatly exalted.

Shout: Teruah! Trumpet: Shofar! Last trump is called Tekiah haGadolah and is played on 1 Tishri! Notice this:

Zechariah 9:14 (KJV)
And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.

Psalms 89:15 (KJV)

Blessed [is] the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

Sound is the word Teruah! The signal, the alarm! Those that are His will hear it and know!

1 Corinthians 14:8 (KJV)

For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

But when this day of trumpet arrives for the lost, it is a day of judgment:

Zephaniah 1:14-16 (KJV)

The great day of the LORD [is] near, [it is] near, and hasteth greatly, [even] the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day [is] a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

A day of the trumpet and alarm: Yom Sofar and Teruah! Here’s Jesus’ parable of the Ten Virgins in the Hebrew Scriptures is found in Daniel 12:1-3 and in Matthew 24:7-8, the Greek word here for sorrows is birth pangs. So the day of the Lord is not a good day for those that do not know God, Amos 5:20.

Notice in Revelation 17:5 the woman is the mother of harlots. Speaking of the Antichrist Daniel 11:32 says he will corrupt the covenant with flatteries but the people of God will be strong and do exploits. Proverbs 7:1-3 says we’re to keep the teachings of God in our heart. Torah means teaching, not Law, and literally means to hit the mark. Sin literally means to miss the mark. Now look at the rest, Proverbs 7:4-10, says it’ll keep you from the strange woman with flattering words! Also notice that the simpleton goes to her house in the black and dark night, the time of Jacob’s trouble, and met the woman dressed as a harlot. Now look at verses Proverbs 7:13-15 where she’s a religious person having finished her vows and sought after the simpleton.

Now look at Mark 13:34 where Jesus is like One on a long far away journey. In Matthew 25:14-15, where the kingdom of heaven is like as a man traveling into a far country, giving His servants money and authority. Matthew 20 shows where Jesus is the householder, the good Man of the house. Go back to Proverbs 7:18-20 and see what it says:

Proverbs 7:18-20 (KJV)

Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves. For the goodman [is] not at home, he is gone a long journey: He hath taken a bag of money with him, [and] will come home at the day appointed.

Everyone is trying to figure out the times, yet here it is for all to see who wish to see. The devil has already changed the times (Daniel 7:25) by leading us to follow the Pope Gregory’s calendar – Gregorian calendar, rather than the Scriptural calendar where we can see the day appointed.

The words day appointed in Proverbs is Yom Kece meaning the day of the full moon. What feasts fall on the day of the full moon? The feast of the full moon, 15 Nisan, is when Jesus was buried. The other feast of the full moon is 15 Tishri, Feast of Tabernacles, Jesus’ birthday! In other words, Proverbs 7:20 states that when Jesus returns, He’ll set up His kingdom on 15 Tishri, the day appointed, feast of the full moon!

But, you say, Jesus comes as a thief in the night. Not to those watching and alive, but those dead in the church. Revelation 3:1-3 states that if the dead church does not watch, I will come unto you as a thief! The same warning to the church of Laodicea who don’t even know they are poor, blind, naked and miserable! Jesus warns again:

Revelation 16:15 (KJV)
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

In the Jewish tradition, the High Priest was called the one that would come as a thief in the night because he’d sneak up to the night watchman and if he found them asleep, he would go and get coals and set their garments on fire, they’d wake up and throw off their garments and run away naked!

Now read Matthew 25:8-13 and Luke 12:37-48! Peter asked if this was for the world or for them. Jesus plainly states it’s for the Man’s servant who is not watching! Matthew 16:3 shows that the Jews didn’t see the signs nor understand them, Luke 19:44. 1 Chronicles 12:32 shows that Issachar knew the times. Seeing all these links, now read what Paul says to the faithful!

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 (KJV)
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

We as Christians are to help the Jews see these appointed times, Ezekiel 33; Jeremiah 6:10, Acts 7:51.

Isaiah 58:1 (KJV)

Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

Remember the old paths, the appointed times.

Jeremiah 6:16-17 (KJV)
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where [is] the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein].Also I set watchmen over you, [saying], Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

The rest of the chapter talks about the tribulation period!

Notice what happens to the faithful, those that are watching and waiting:

Daniel 12:2 (KJV)
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame [and] everlasting contempt.

Isaiah 26:19-21 (KJV)
Thy dead [men] shall live, [together with] my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew [is as] the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Psalms 98:4-9 (KJV)

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Let the floods clap [their] hands: let the hills be joyful together before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

So let’s go back to the beginning where God set up His schedule:

Genesis 1:14 (KJV)

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

The first thing the sun, moon and stars are for is for signs. This word signs can be translated sign, signal, a distinguishing mark, banner, remembrance, miraculous sign, omen, warning, token, ensign, standard, miracle, and proof. Do not think for a moment this is astrology (interpreted as having an influence on human affairs and the natural world) but only for what God has said signs.

1 Tishri also marks the beginning of the Sabbatical year (shemita) and the year of Jubilee, and the trumpet is sounded on 10 Tishri, Leviticus 25:8-9, mark that that year is the year of Jubilee. And in Jewish tradition 1 Tishri was the day in which Abraham bound up Isaac to sacrifice him. When Abraham proved himself to God, God provided a ram who was caught by its HORN!! The shofar is a ram’s horn! Who is Isaac a symbol of? Jesus! So when the shofar is blown on 1 Tishri it’s to remind God of the promise (which the Jews missed) and to us of the finished work of Jesus as He moves from the seat of judgment to the seat of mercy, Numbers 10:10, Isaiah 44:23-24, Psalms 32:10-11, Psalms 47:1-9!

Note an interesting word. The first word of the scriptures is בראשׁית and means in the beginning, and literally means in head [of time] mark, as inGenesis, in beginning, in source, in onset, in inception. Like when NASA says, “Start the count down, mark!” Rearrange the letters and you get תשׁרי בא, Tishri Come! If you put a space after the tav (ת), you have Mark [and] Abide [the] Coming! Philippians 1:24 and 1 John 2:24-25! Tav is what God said in Ezekiel 9:4 would be what is used to mark the worthy, Revelation 7:3 and 9:4! Tav is also the symbol that is portrayed when the lamb’s blood is put on the sides and lintel of the door!

We know this day is also the day when the Lord comes to rule the earth because on a 30-day monthly calendar, from Passover to Feast of Trumpets is 1260 days! Jesus died on Passover, the Antichrist will kill the Two Witnesses, and execute the abomination of desolation on Passover, and then in 1260 days Jesus returns to rule for 1000 years. The Two Witness preach for 1260 days, Revelation 11:3, and Israel is to flee to the mountains and abide there 1260 days, Revelation 12:6. Add the two together and you get 7 years. 2520 days after the arrival of the Two Witnesses, Jesus returns. 1 Tishri is a dual meaning day!

Psalms 102:13 (KJV)

Thou shalt arise, [and] have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

Time in this verse is mo’ed.

Psalms 102:18 (KJV)

This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

The words generation to come is literally last generation.

Job 24:1 (KJV)

Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?

Whether the Lord comes on this day or not, always look up! And as the Feast of Trumpets arrives this Wednesday night, 09/24/2014, let’s look up and pray this is the year He comes! Maranatha – Come Lord! :)

Luke 21:28 (KJV)

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Take the Kingdom of God by Force

There are only two primal feelings in us: love and fear. First fear. Fear is the opposite of faith. Fear is natural, but it comes from ignorance of the situation or knowledge that in “that” situation something bad happened and you fear out of experience. Because of this you’re frustrated and because you’re tired of being frustrated you store it within “trying to control it” and having that stored anger will grow and eventually bubbles up as rage. When you explode you then ask yourself, “why/how did that happen!?” And you become angry because you got angry and the cycle starts up “replenishing” the anger you lost when you blew up. Fear begins because you feel you’re not in control and the lack of control builds anger. It’s a loop of lies continually building. Nanosecond events or vivid lengthy events build up on this foundation of fear. Sow & Reap. Here’s an example:

When I was 11, my dad came with me to my room to chat and I literally jumped into bed like I always did. My dad asked me why I jumped into bed. I thought about it (having never done that before on the subject) and it came to mind that I was fearful of standing next to the bed, but I didn’t understand why. (I had to be honest with myself otherwise I would not have understood that.) My dad told me he knew why. When I was 3 I had a babysitter that got angry because I wouldn’t stay in bed, so she told me there were bugs under the bed that would hurt me if I got out. She recounted the story to my parents. All those years later and I was still afraid – why wouldn’t I be? I trusted what I was told. I had no concept of deception at the age of 3. I don’t recall the incident, but my heart did. But once I knew the truth and how silly it was, I never jumped onto the bed again. I was free of this fear.

All fear is the same. It is the result of not having the correct information. In my case it was being lied to. In other’s it can be from a traumatic event in one’s life – like war, whether actual military war, or war in the house between your parents. In still other cases it’s believing a fleshy thought or a lie by the enemy that “God doesn’t love you”.

The honest reality is we are not in control no matter how arrogantly we think we are. God is totally in control and He will always guide His to the truth and the truth will set you free if you’re honest enough with yourself to listen to the Holy Spirit when you inquire of Him why you are so. This is exactly what David did in Psa 139:23-24. As a child of God you’re already a new creature, no change required. You just have to believe WHO you are in Christ. You, like all of us, have an identity crisis. It’s time to believe the word of God and reject the lies floating in your head that is affecting your beliefs of your heart. You can think all the positive things you want, but until you get them into your heart, your beliefs will always overrule your thoughts. I can say “I am healed by His stripes” in my head and even out my own mouth, but if my heart say “yea right” NOTHING will change. I will remain sick. There’s no “trying” you either DO or you DON’T do. What does one DO? Believe. That’s only done in the heart, not the head. It starts in the head – like planting a seed – if you plant negative doubt then doubt is what will grow in your heart regardless of what your head says. If you plant truth in faith, then faith will grow in your heart regardless of what your head says!

How is one saved? By grace, yes, but it’s faith (aka trust in God’s ability). Paul asked three times to have the thorn in the flesh removed and what did God say? His grace is sufficient. We quickly judge the passage incorrectly by saying “oh well, he tried, but God said no.” But if you know what grace is – unmerited favor – how can remaining ill be favor? So if grace means unmerited favor, and it does, then what could that passage mean? Easy, time to dissect a verse. Paul says:

Galatians 2:21 (KJV)
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

2. to thwart the efficacy of anything, nullify, make void, frustrate
3. to reject, to refuse, to slight

Righteous:
– Original: δικαιοσύνη
– Transliteration: Dikaiosune
– Phonetic: dik-ah-yos-oo’-nay
– Definition:
1. in a broad sense: state of him who is as he ought to be, righteousness, the condition acceptable to God
a. the doctrine concerning the way in which man may attain a state approved of God
b. integrity, virtue, purity of life, rightness, correctness of thinking feeling, and acting
2. in a narrower sense, justice or the virtue which gives each his due

So which of these is this talking about? Righteousness is a state of being as you ought to be. To frustrate is to disregard, set aside, nullify. So when Paul said he did not frustrate the grace of God, he was saying he learned from God that His grace (His favor) was sufficient, which told Paul that Paul was at fault. God has given us EVERYTHING pertaining to life, we just have to believe in the heart.

Why are miracles not more readily available? Lack of belief in the heart – not the head. Our real beliefs of the heart either confirm or nullify God’s grace.

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

So, now you have to:

1 Timothy 6:12 (KJV)
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Lay hold means take, grab hold of, take possession, take by force… sound familiar?

Matthew 11:12 (KJV)
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

Though it’s not the same word, you’ll be shocked to learn it. ALL translations have it wrong and the Plain Aramaic is the closest to it’s meaning:

“From the days of Yohannan The Baptizer until this hour the Kingdom of Heaven is led by force and the violent are seizing it.”

Get TheWord.Net software and see the Greek for yourself. This verse means:

The Kingdom of Heaven is seized and the strong snatch it up*!

(*hapatzo the same word Paul uses for the great “catching away”! )

So if you want what God has to offer, YOU must be strong in belief and snatch it up and seize it! See why you have to do your own homework? How powerful is God’s word to get us to where we are free in this life, not skipping hard-to-understand verses like in church!

Be free! You already are, you just have to believe it! That is love, because He first loved US!

Romans 8:32 (KJV)
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Matthew 27:46 (KJV)
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

So here we have the translation within the verse, but it used to be a great distressful verse for me. I could not reconcile first, with the fact of Who Jesus is, and second, with why would God cry out like that to God? I’ve heard ALL the explanations – The Father cannot be in the presence of sin – but then Jesus and the Father wouldn’t be One as Jesus had said, John 10:30.

FINALLY! I have the answer and it’s so amazing – to me!

Up until 1551 (NT) and 1571 (OT) the scriptures did not have numbers associated with the verses. In Jesus’ day if they wanted a specific chapter to read, they’d quote the first verse (sentence) since those of the synagogues all knew by heart the OT from cover to cover. So on the cross Jesus yells out by this verse “Read Psalms 22!”

Psalms 22:1 (KJV)
To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? [why art thou so] far from helping me, [and from] the words of my roaring?

Jesus was proclaiming while it was happening that He was fulfilling Psalms 22! Jesus wasn’t yelling at the Father, as even those that heard Him believed, Matt 27:47-48! Now look at this verse in Psalms 22:

Psalms 22:6 (KJV)
But I [am] a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

This isn’t just any worm, but a tolaw (תּולע coccus ilics) which lays its eggs deposited under her on a tree where she fixed herself so strongly she’d never leave and die there for her eggs. Upon dying, a crimson fluid would stain her and the tree trunk around her. Here Jesus is saying I’m covered with crimson blood dying for you so you can be BORN AGAIN! OH WOW!!!

That’s the power of going to the originals. Usually, if something doesn’t sit well, it’s the Holy Spirit telling you to look into it deeper or reject the teaching.

Forgiveness

It’s not what people use it to mean. Forgiveness isn’t for the offender, but for the offended. Indeed this is a huge subject. Definition first:

Forgive in Hebrew:

– Original: נשׂא
– Transliteration: Nasa’
– Phonetic: naw-saw’
– Definition:
1. to lift, bear up, carry, take

In Greek:
– Original: ἀφίημι
– Transliteration: Aphiemi
– Phonetic: af-ee’-ay-mee
– Definition:
1. to send away
a. to bid going away or depart

Very interesting. To forgive is to carry away, to bid going away. Here’s how this applies. Let’s start with this verse:

Proverbs 18:8 (KJV)
The words of a talebearer [are] as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

…are as wounds… this is so true that every child is almost taught “sticks and stone may break my bones but words will never hurt” and that is a big fat lie. It’s a failed attempt to make a negative situation a positive. But here we have the word of God that says otherwise. They ARE as wounds. Furthermore, it’s not just a momentary hurt but those wounds go down into the innermost parts of the belly! What does that mean? It goes to the heart. The heart is more than the pump that circulates the blood, it is where we keep the records of our events. The mind is used to analyze events in our lives, but it’s the conclusions that are kept in our bodies, in every cell, rightly or wrongly judged. When David asked to search his heart Psa 139:23-24this is what he was talking about. Our judgments of events in our lives are stored and will affect us if we do not send it away – forgive. Those feelings will rot out where ever they were stored. Here’s an example:

There was a friend of mine that had chronic sinus infections and spent thousands trying to discover the problem. Nothing. Then one day I asked her, “Did anything happen to you as a child?” She hung up the phone. Three hours later she called back and explained a horrible childhood with an unbelievably brutal mother. I told her she needed to forgive her mother. She hung up again. Three days later she called back trying to justify her hate of her mother. After a few hours of deep discussion she relented but said it was still impossible to forgive her because she had already died. I told what I said above: forgiveness is for the offended not the offender. She hung up civilly this time saying she had to think about it.

Days went by. She called back and said she cried and cried but she forgave her mother. A few more days went by and she called back saying her sinus infection had gone! That was 5 years ago and she’s been free ever since.

Mark 11:26 (KJV)
But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

1 John 2:12 (KJV)
I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.

How can these two verses not be a contradiction? One is conditional and the other isn’t. So which is it? (These are rhetorical questions, I’ll answer them.) Indeed, as Christians, our sins are completely forgiven, and we have access to abundant grace. So, did Jesus lie? God forbid! So it means only one thing: His words are not understood (surprise!).

God’s grace is sufficient, 2 Cor 12:9 So what is grace? Unmerited favor. Salvation means freedom from stress – all, not just the change of destination after death. But you can look that one up. So… why if we have this wonderful superabundant grace are there still illnesses in the body of Christ? Time for more understanding:

Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV)
The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it?

So we saw before the wounds go down to the innermost part of the belly. The word heart here means the inner man, mind, will, heart, understanding, the inner part, midst. Belly also means the seat of mental faculties. This is very interesting because remember your first love, where did it hurt? In the belly right? All the feelings go there. When someone is deeply upset they don’t want to eat. If these where just mental issues alone, why does it affect the belly like the word of God says? Because it’s true.

Here’s Youngs Literal of the verse above:

Jeremiah 17:9 (YLT)
Crooked [is] the heart above all things, And it [is] incurable–who doth know it?

When events are buried inside us, we don’t even recognize their reaction to other events as being connected. Have you ever totally lost it and not know why, or how that could happen to you? That’s a buried, festering, feeling in response to an event. It requires the Holy Spirit in meditation of His word to weed that out and send it away – forgive. This is why the question is asked, who can know it? Only God can because we’ve buried it! But once He tells you about it, you must then act on that information and send away the hurt. This is what they do for PTSD soldiers. They get them to acknowledge and release the pain, walk through and get rid of those feelings. This is what doctors do for children who cannot express themselves, they have them draw out the traumatic event. If you ignore those feelings it will only manifest itself as an illness 20, 30, 50 years later, because you don’t use what God gives you – grace. That grace will give you the power to overcome all those negative feelings. And because you deal with those transgression against you – send away, forgive -, God can heal (forgive, send away) your transgressions – meaning He now has YOUR permission to deal with your issues.

Here’s why that verse is translated so.

John 20:19-23 (KJV)
Then the same day at evening, being the first [day] of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you. And when he had so said, he shewed unto them [his] hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace [be] unto you: as [my] Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on [them], and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; [and] whose soever [sins] ye retain, they are retained.

So Jesus shows up, say “Peace” tells them He sends them like His Father did to Him, gives them the Holy Spirit and then talks about “remit”. Hallelujah! It’s the same word for SEND AWAY translated elsewhere as forgive!

Here’s the Message’s translation:
John 20:22-23 (MSG) Then he took a deep breath and breathed into them. “Receive the Holy Spirit,” he said. “If you forgive someone’s sins, they’re gone for good. If you don’t forgive sins, what are you going to do with them?

He’s saying, if you don’t send away the sins of others – from where? YOU! – then what are you going to do with them seeing they’re going to reside in your BELLY!!!

If you forgive, then God can heal you. Where’s that in the bible you say?

Galatians 2:21 (KJV)
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness [come] by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

The word frustrate means to do away with, to set aside, disregard, to thwart the efficacy of anything, nullify, make void, frustrate! Here you go, if you reject the grace of God you’re NULLIFYING it! And if you nullify you’re canceling it out. So now you can understand the meaning of:

Mark 11:26 (KJV)
But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

If you do not send away (because you reject, nullify the grace given to you), neither can your Father send away yours because YOU won’t release them!! It’s all cause and effect!

That’s what forgiveness is! I die daily. I renew my mind. I send away, not cover up, those negative, festering feelings. This is the meaning of 2 Cor 10:5!

Once you get rid of them, the way to maintain it is Phil 4:8!

I hope this LONG (yet very short) study of forgiveness helps someone! Praise God!

John 8:32 (KJV)
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
