Power of the Tongue

Call those thing which be not as though they were. Roman 4:17b

What does it mean to call thing that be not as though they were? Prophesy your future. How do you prophesy your future?

1.   Speaking positive things in your life.

2.   Believe what you speak.

3.   Trust in God.

Remember that the Scriptures says, Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. ”

Either you can speak good things upon yourself or you can speak bad things upon yourself.

Whatever you speak believe what you say. Make the Scripture work for you through Jesus Christ:

1.    Philippians 4:13 (KJV) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

2.    Romans 8:28 (KJV) “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

3.    Isaiah 54:17 (KJV) “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”

4.    I am a positive encourage. I edify and build up; I never tear down or destroy.  (Romans 15:2)

5.    I am a believer— not a doubter! ( Mark 5:36 )

6.    I love all people, and I am loved by all people (1John 3:14)

7.    I am a responsible person. I enjoy responsibility, and I rise to every responsibility in Christ Jesus. ( 2 Cor. 11:28 ; Phil 4:13 )

8.    I do not speak negative things. ( Eph. 4:29 )

9.    I am an obedient wife (child) and no rebellion operates in me. ( Eph . 5:22,24 1 Sam.15:23 )

10.     I am very prosperity. I prosper in everything I put my hand to do. I have prosperity in all arrears of my life- spiritual, financial, mental, and social. ( Gen. 39:3; Josh 1:18; 3 John 2 )

Isaiah 55:6-13 (KJV) “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

The Word of God is a vision to those that speak it!!!

Ephesians 3:20a (KJV) “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, …”

Proverbs 15:4 (KJV) “A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.”

The word “wholesome” is מַרפֵּא which literally means “healing” or “cure”. Remove the mem (מ) (meaning “from” or “of”) and you get רפֵּא which means “to cure” or “to heal” or “to make whole” or “restore”. This is the meaning of the name Raphael (רָפֵּאל) “God Heals” (רָפֵּא אל)

Mem’s pictograph is waters. So one could say Proverbs 15:4a can read: “a healing tongue, by the flowing waters from the Holy Spirit, is a tree of life”. Joseph Prince says רפֵּא is “relax” so if we relax in the Spirit, we will be healed.

Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

John 7:38 (KJV) “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

Proverbs 14:30 (KJV) “A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.”

The word “sound” here is again מַרפֵּא whereas “envy” is like cancer to the bones. JP says that more often than not, arthritis is cause from bitterness. He also says that it’s not what we’re eating, but what’s eating us: anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, worry for tomorrow, to the point we worry when everything’s great!

You could say that a peaceful, tranquil heart is life to the body! A relaxed mind is life to the body.

Philippians 4:6 (KJV) “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

The word “be careful” is the same as “anxious”, to “worry”.

II Timothy 1:7 (KJV) “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Fear leads to hate…fear births hatred. If you fear God beyond His due respect and awe it’s the wrong kind of fear. If you wrongfully fear your boss, or mother-in-law, you will learn to hate them! In this verse “power” in Greek is dunamis which is the miraculous power – the power that flowed out of Jesus and healed them all and is the word Jesus used when He said who has “touched me: for I perceive dunamis is gone out of me” (Luke 8:46 KJV)! Dunamis is where we get the word dynamite! Love is agape – not just affectionate love, but benevolent understanding love. The love that is I Corinthians 13 love – agape – Godly love. Finally the word for “sound mind” is sophronismos which is translated in all kinds of ways, but the real meaning is “even keeled” “balanced”. One version says that it is “safe and sound in mind and emotions; in proper control of one’s faculties of thoughts and emotions.” Or as JP says  “no stress” and at peace.

Now read II Timothy 1:6 (KJV) “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.”

“Stir up” is to re-kindle and the “gift” is charisma – which is the gift FROM the Holy Spirit, not the gift (doma) OF the Holy Spirit. The gifts of the Spirit (healing, miracles, prophecies, etc) are charisma! So what charisma is Paul telling Timothy to re-kindle? So lets see what happened when Paul laid his hands on Timothy:

Acts 19:6 (KJV) “And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.”

Tongues – the only gift we can call by our will.

Satan is already defeated, so if he comes, don’t “try” and defeat him, he’s already defeated.

It’s one thing pray FOR victory, it’s another to pray FROM victory. It’s one thing to fight FOR victory, it’s another thing to fight FROM victory. One is from a point of view from defeat the other from rest. It’s one thing to TRY to get healed, it’s another to know you are healed, experiencing the symptoms of lies. You are the healed in Christ. Our place is a given, a place of rest in Christ.

Proverbs 16:3 (KJV) “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

Sinners

We are not sinners because we sin; we’re sinners because we’re born sinners. I will not white-wash the truth. Here it is. For many years I was very angry at any little thing. Finally, when I stopped and asked God what the deal was, He responded, “You say and do not do. You do not obey Me, you do not trust me that your life is Mine. Trust and Obey.” Peace comes from God so that no matter what happens to us, we shall not be moved. The answer to the question of sin is Repent! Change your mind – change your thinking – literally in the Greek. That means cease from your disobedience and when you do, God shall restore peace to you. Confess every fault with your mouth and He will be faithful to hear you. Cease your unrighteousness and He will restore you. That’s what I had to learn.

Philippians 2:12-13 (KJV)  Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Romans 8:1-2 (KJV)  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

It is hard work, but doable only through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. First you must captivate every thought and put it in its place, either put it out, or store it for meditation. Here’s the scripture:

Romans 12:1-2 (KJV)  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

What is the knowledge of God? Scripture. How do we do this capture? By being aware what goes on in our thoughts. It will take hard work to not have a lazy passive mind. Then what? So you captivate your thoughts, then what do you think about? Whatsoever things are pure…here are some verses:

Philippians 4:6-8 (KJV)  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Romans 10:17 (KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Now that you have your thoughts under control and your faith grows so will your trust in God in being in control over your life.

I John 2:24-29 (KJV) Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

Without faith it is impossible to please Him and you will not have peace until then. The need for faith arises from issues in our lives.

James 1:3-4 (KJV) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

1Peter 4:17-19 (KJV) For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Surrender your past and start new, even today. His mercies are new every morning.

Lamentations 3:21-26 (KJV) This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

I Peter 1:6-9 (KJV) Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Blessings on your journey.

Raptures in Scripture

Enoch

Genesis 5:24  “And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.”

Jude 1:14-15  “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

Hebrews 11:5-6  “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Moses?

Deuteronomy 34:5-6  “So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.”

Elijah

2 Kings 2:9-13  “And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;”

Jesus

Acts 1:7-9  “And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.”

Ephesians 4:8-10 “Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)”

Paul’s Friend (temp)

2 Corinthians 12:2-4  I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Philip (temp)

Acts 8:39  And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

John (temp)

Revelation 4:1  After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

Rapture of the Faithful Church

1 Thessalonians 5:2-5 “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.”

Matthew 23:33  “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?”

Luke 21:36  “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”

Two Witnesses

Revelation 11:3-12  “And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.”

Gather of the Faithful –
those that were not counted worthy before but are now (Luke 21:36)

Matthew 24:29-31  “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

Mark 13:24-27  “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”

When & Who

Hard to say, but we are not meant for wrath being under the Blood of Jesus. How can God’s punishment of the world fall on us? If we are the promised Bride of Christ and the body of Christ, then how is it we would be pummeled on the Earth, die, and then have the wedding feast in Heaven?

Ephesians 5:25-30  Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

John 14:1-4  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Isaiah 26:19-21  Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

1 John 3:1-3  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Zephaniah 2:3  Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

Psalms 27:5-6  For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

All of Ruth

Naomi is Israel, Ruth is the Church, Boaz is the Lord. Naomi returns to the Land of Israel, Ruth follows, and marries Ruth’s kindred, just like we will when Jesus returns.

Before war

Ambassador’s are recalled before war.

2 Corinthians 5:20-21  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Why doesn’t God show Himself?

Someone asked:

Why does God need people to make his arguments for him? Why can’t he just reveal his true self, clearly and unequivocally, and settle the question once and for all? If God existed, why wouldn’t it just be obvious?

In a word: faith. True biblical Christianity requires faith. There is absolutely nothing we can do to please God except to have faith and trust in Him and Him alone. All religions except biblical Christianity require you to DO something to earn whatever. We can do NOTHING to get to heaven except to have faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. No more, no less. We are sinners not because we sin, but because we are born that way. No hope except what Jesus did. He Who had no sin, gave us who have no righteousness, innocence. It’s called grace – unmerited favor. Faith.

I’m no judge, nor do I judge you. We are all taught/learn however the information is presented. As with any organization – business, church, government – they are run by people and they’ll ruin it. They can’t help it. If you wish to put a label on me, think of it this way: I’m a road sign on the road of your life – heed it, don’t heed it. You won’t know if that sign was accurate until you get to the destination. If I say the bridge is out ahead and you ignore me you suffer the consequences. I would rather believe in God and be wrong, than to find out there is a God and not having accepted His free gift. God never wants anyone to go to hell, but our destination is completely every mans choice.

In all my writings I warn everyone to do their own homework and not take my word for it. However I find people with deep convictions suffer from cognitive dissonance, the same condition some suffer when a crisis occurs called normalcy bias and can’t understand even if they study the subject in question. Even the Scriptures point this out: “If our good news is hid, it is hid to them that are lost.” Vain philosophies explain away the truth. 1+1=2, but philosophy says 1+1=1: 1 fox + 1 chicken = 1 satisfied fox. They say, using this formula, that truth then is relative. Yet truth has no agenda. Pilot asked Jesus, “What is truth?” Communist Russia named their paper Pravda – truth – but did they reveal the truth. So let’s turn to mathematics. The Greek mathematician Pythagoras declared that numbers were the basic elements of the universe. Plato said that numbers and mathematical laws are ethereal ideals, existing outside of space and time in a realm beyond the reach of humankind. The physicist Eugene Wigner once said the failure to explain rationally the “unreasonable effectiveness of mathematics, an enormous gap in human understanding.” So how smart does one need to become to write one verse, the very first verse, of the bible into an amazing mathematical enigma? If you understand math, then you’ll see it for yourself here http://www.whatabeginning.com/Misc/Wonders/P.htm

Finally, the single most proof of God’s existence beyond the math is prophecy. Don’t confuse fortune telling with prophecy. Prophecy can only come from God and will NEVER EVER be wrong. 150 years before Israel’s captivity to Babylon, Isaiah named the leader who would let them go home – Cyrus. When he was shown this, he let them go. You could call it a manipulation of the fact, but they were only in captivity 70 years – which was also prophesied by Isaiah. They were free to leave in the 70th year of their captivity. There is no denying that Israel ceased to exist (70 AD) and its population scattered to the four winds (~135 AD). Yet even before they were scattered they were told they would be born in a day. The first nation elected into existence by the world was Israel in a U.N. vote on May 14, 1948. In the OT the shekel was used as a measure of weight, yet the bible says in the last days they would use the shekel as money. Just last month they renamed their currency to “Shekel” from “New Israeli Shekel”. The bible also says that Jerusalem would be divided and one day the west part of the city would be united to the east. From its founding to 1948 it was united, then split in the war of independence, and reunited in 1967. So you say “those are all coincidences” so here’s one yet to be fulfilled: Troubles at night and by morning Damascus will cease to be a city. Written some 3500 years ago, Damascus is one of, if not the oldest inhabited city in the world – conquered yes, but still a city. Here’s another: a temple will be built in Jerusalem without the outer court and the sacrifices will resume (having been stopped in 70AD) and run for only 1150 days and be stopped.

Here’s a mathematical impossibility: God told Israel through Moses that the 9th of Av (Jewish month) would be a continual time of mourning for them.

  • The first (29 July 587 BC) and second (4 Aug 70 AD) temples were destroyed on 9 Av;
  • Jerusalem was plowed under with salt on 9 Av (25 July 71 AD);
  • the last resistance of Israel to the Romans was destroyed on 9 Av (5 Aug 135 AD);
  • Pope Urban II began the teaching evil towards the Jews igniting the first Crusades in the month of Av throughout France;
  • England expelled the Jews on 9 Av (18 July 1290 AD);
  • France expelled the Jews on 10 Av (22 July 1306 AD);
  • Spain expelled the Jews on 8 Av (31 July 1492);
  • World War I France to Germany and Germany to Russia declared war on 9 Av (1 August 1914);
  • three days earlier Russia expelled the Jews on 6 Av (29 July 1914 remember “Fiddler on the Roof”);
  • the Germans began a systematic liquidation of the Ghetto on 8 Av (22 July 1942);
  • In response to their treatment, a revolt occur in the Ghetto and on 9 Av (10 August 1943) the Germans “cleansed” the Ghetto – no more Jews in Warsaw…

You can ignore these facts, but you cannot deny God’s promise to a people whose calendar is only unique to them and yet the world acts wrongly towards them on that day.

What didn’t Jesus know?

While here on earth Jesus only did what the Holy Spirit told Him to do. That very same Spirit lives within us and we too are to walk in His shoes. He had to learn obedience and didn’t know when He’d return.

Hebrews 5:8-10 (KJV) Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

Mark 13:32 (KJV) But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

So, just as Jesus is, so are we, today, now, here on earth:

1 John 4:17 (KJV) Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

John 7:38-39 (KJV) He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Ever wonder why the Spirit couldn’t be given? Because Jesus hadn’t yet died for our sins. He presented Himself as our Holy Sacrifice when He ascended to the Father. Once that happened the Holy Spirit was given to us – He cannot exist in an unholy temple, of which we are now righteous by His blood and the temple of the Holy Spirit. Therefore we have the ability to live like Jesus did, be guided by the Holy Spirit like Jesus did, and through His power we glorify God with our lives, which is why “as He is, so are we in this world”, and what is that? Righteous!

Cause and Effect

Genesis 12:3 “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”‎

2011 In his American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) speech last year, President Obama said that the US “believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine… The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states…” That very same day, over 40 tornadoes were reported in the United States as a major tornado outbreak continued. An EF5 tornado that hit Joplin, Missouri caused catastrophic damage. The devastation from the outbreak was so severe, that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu started off his AIPAC speech the next night by offering his condolences to those affected by the recent tornadoes and flooding.

President Obama is scheduled to address the AIPAC 2012 convention on Sunday morning, March 4. Tornado wipes out Indiana town of Marysville March 2 during a major tornado outbreak Across U.S.; 101 Tornadoes Breaks Single Day Record for March…

I urge you to pay attention to cause and effect, especially concerning the United States and Israel. Here is a perfect example:

  • 8 Aug 2005: U.S. pressures Israel to pull out of Gaza
  • 15 Aug 2005: Israel begins to pull out of Gaza forcing settlers out
  • 23 Aug 2005: Hurricane Katrina forms
  • 24 Aug 2005: Israel pullout completes Gaza withdrawal
  • 24 Aug 2005: U.S. pressures Israel to resume roadmap plan
  • 26 Aug 2005: Sharon faces the battle of his political life against Netanyahu
  • 26 Aug 2005: Oil hits a record high at $68/barrel
  • 29 Aug 2005: Katrina hits New Orleans – 28 levees fail (over 50 in the ensuing days)
  • 4 Jan 2006: Ariel Sharon has massive stroke leaving him in a permanent vegetative state

The area devastated by hurricane Katrina totals 90,000 square miles encompassing parts of three states (164 square miles for every square mile of Gaza). By contrast, the whole of the British Island, comprising England, Wales and Scotland, is only 84,400 square miles. 1836 people die because of Katrina.

Here’s another example:

  • 30 Mar 2010: Netanyahu snubbed at the White House while Obama goes to dinner
  • 10 Apr 2010: Israel will not attend the Obama Nuclear Arms Summit in fears the US will force Israel
  • 19 Apr 2010: Obama and Israel: Showdown at the UN (U.S. will not rubber-stamp a veto on non-Israeli friendly votes)
  • 20 Apr 2010: Israel warns of a nuclear race in the Middle East is Iran is allowed to have the bomb
  • 21 Apr 2010: US will not attack Iran on nuclear issue, leaves Israel to make a unilateral decision, which without US support will fail
  • 21 Apr 2010: US to allow a nuclear Iran
  • 21 Apr 2010: Oil Rig explodes off coast of Louisiana, 11 killed
  • 29 Apr 2010: Obama warns Israel and PA to do nothing to stop peace process
  • 29 Apr 2010: Gulf Oil slick: Businesses Brace for the worse
  • 29 Apr 2010: Oil Slick makes landfall

Here is yet another example:

  • 21 Jun 2010: US angry with the continued building in East Jerusalem
  • 22 Jun 2010: Israel’s feeling of isolation is becoming more pronounced
  • 24 Jun 2010: Obama calls Gaza situation ‘unsustainable’
  • 24 Jun 2010: A 100-yard-wide tornado with winds of at least 100 mph rips through Bridgeport causing massive damage

Who are the 144,000?

John the Baptist said that he was a friend of the bridegroom and if a friend then not necessarily the bride. Was he not a follower of Christ? He was born with the Holy Spirit – even Jesus wasn’t; He received the Holy Spirit at His baptism (Matthew 3:16) – yet John did no recorded miracles, he simply preached repentance and baptism; something unheard of in those days and without scriptural merit, yet he fulfilled these verses:

Exodus 23:20 (KJV) Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Malachi 3:1 (KJV) Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

Isaiah 40:3 (KJV) The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Note: “angel” and “messenger” in the verses above are the same word in Hebrew. Jesus quoted these verses in Matthew 11:10, yet when speaking of John Jesus said:

Matthew 11:11 (KJV) Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

Why do I point this out? Because God deals with man over time differently. Some choose to use the inaccurate word dispensation: the ordering of life and events by God, but from Adam to Moses grace abounded. Because of the arrogance of Israel, the Law reigned from Moses to Jesus. Yet, David dared to challenge this arrogant teaching and lived by grace (not being killed for killing Uriah to steal his wife; unlawfully eating the showbread, etc.) My idea in all this is to point out that after the bride (the church) is removed, the preaching of the gospel will revert back to the Israel via the 144,000 male virgin Jews and the two witnesses supernaturally sent from heaven. The 144,000 having missed the rapture, understand what happened, accept the gospel they were obviously taught, become sealed by God to avert the wrath to come, and it is they that will continue the message of grace taught since the beginning of time. Another scenario would be they hear the two witnesses and accept the Gospel. God always leaves a way of escape and a remnant. These 144,000 male virgin Jews will be protected from God’s wrath on the earth, but the Antichrist will kill them. Persecution is not wrath.

The gentiles are not the only ones raptured, anyone who accepts the free gift of life, including ethnic Jews.

John 3:29 (KJV) He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

The preachers (144,000 male virgin Jews – Revelation 7 & 14) will be sealed to preach the gospel. The Antichrist will overcome those that turn to Christ and kill the saints (Revelation 7 & 13) as well as the 144,000 (Revelation 14). Thinking that no one can get saved during the tribulation? Of course people will be saved, who else will have the kids who will die as a child at 100 years of age in the Kingdom (Isaiah 65:20), or who will be left to rise up against the Lord at the end of 1000 years (Rev 20). If the believers are rapture and will be like the angels (Matthew 22:30), and when Jesus returns to set up His kingdom everything that is offensive will be gathered and thrown into the fire (Matthew 13:39-42), who will be left to have the children? Those that supported Israelis during this time of tribulation will be allowed to enter the earthly Kingdom (Matthew 25:40). Those Jews, in name only, who remained in the world and would not accept their heritage will be judge by Jesus in the wilderness (Ezekiel 20:33-38) and those who survive in Israel or Petra (Isaiah 16:1 & Daniel 11 & Matthew 24) will be accepted (Ezekiel 20:39-44 & Zechariah 12:10).

One of the greatest miracles in the world is when one accepts the free gift of salvation from the Lord Jesus. Although it’ll be much harder during the tribulation period, grace will still available for those who choose to accept the free gift of salvation from hell. Do so now, before it’s too late. Jesus died for YOU personally. I invite you to watch this video to set the record straight: http://youtu.be/4lnB38K-gmc

Where does the Antichrist come from?

This is the most edited post I’ve ever done…Everything I say here I’ve had to wrestle with because I too have been taught many different theories and this is where “private interpretations” come from. Too many try to fit prophecy into a “current-events” model and until the events present themselves, it’s all speculation and private interpretation. If you read the Scriptures as they are written, without the lenses of preachers, theories, dogma and believe it is accurate when Scriptures say then the Antichrist is an Assyrian. It is man’s interpretation that the “north” is Russia. I’ll expand on this in a moment. Since there are a billion Muslims from Morocco to Indonesia, I don’t think 200 million fighting for their god is too much to believe that they’re Muslims, especially when a Caliphate is reinstated by Turkey. India could also produce that many, yet no one considers them, why not? Maybe it’s because they don’t have a beef with Israel. Yet, despite all the speculation, I do not believe that these are human men from some country, but those demonic insects loosed at the beginning of Revelation nine from the pit along with the four “angels” currently bound in the river Euphrates who were also loosed. Those loci are like horses whose tails where like scorpions. I don’t believe we humans could invent a “thing” that would prevent death for five months. Things in the end times won’t be like today in any way – a lot of supernatural “stuff” will occur which is the great deception and how the false prophet will be able to call down fire from heaven. No one is going to follow someone who can call missiles down from heaven, but the moment someone can call fire down like Elijah on CNN; half the world would become a follower overnight. Don’t forget the acts of the two witnesses either.

There’s no question where the Antichrist comes from – Assyria. “The Assyrian” is mentioned 13 times in 13 verses and never in a good light. Click the link to see a map of Assyria: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Map_of_Assyria.png

These compass directions of Daniel 11 and their meanings are no different than arguing the matter as to whether the Messiah would come from Bethlehem, Nazareth, or Egypt; they’re all correct when you’re given the whole story. Though Babylon is almost due east, any army would have to come from the north because no one wants to do what Laurence of Arabia did. Islam surrounds Israel so it can come from every direction except due east – Jordan – because the Antichrist doesn’t gain control of them for whatever reason and Jesus warns Israel to flee to the mountains. Isaiah 16 names Petra – aka Sela as the destination. If they’re in Petra, Jerusalem becomes west in relation to Israel trying to survive. East is where Assyria is as well as north if you look at the map. North could also mean someone from Turkey, the seat of the Caliphate, or even a Kurd, no? The fact that Assyria no long exists, could mean the Antichrist might actually be a Kurd and if three kingdoms surrender to him, could he not also call it Magog? Daniel’s statue contains all Islamic countries that have ruled over Israel. If anything Daniel 11 sounds like a battle between the Sunny and Shia’a legs of Islam. Verse 21 says that the Antichrist will rise up with peace and flattering (just as John said in Revelation).

Think of it this way – even though their beliefs are not all biblical, the Catholics still believe and state that Jesus is the Son of God and even if a Pope said that it was no longer true, would that be enough to turn Catholics to following him in a new religion? The more likely scenario is people will turn to Islam. Wow! That’s what’s happening right now around the world. There are a lot of specific things about the Antichrist that point to him being a Muslim (just from their own professed beliefs right now) that fit much more than trying to convert Catholics from believing Jesus is not the Son of God. Islam declares God has no Son that alone would lead me to believe the Scriptures that the Antichrist is a Muslim over being a Catholic. “…every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist …” This is why God warns about changing the book of Revelation but that’s just what the world has done. There’s almost a Pavlovian response by everyone to 666 but no one recognizes it’s really Arabic bismillah – In the name of Allah.

The ONLY reason the whole idea of the Catholics being the evil religion of the end times is because 400 years ago they ruled Europe and from a misunderstanding of Daniel nine verse 27 as to the identification of “who” the prince and “his” people are. When you study history, Titus didn’t have enough men, so he brought in the Alexandrian and Syrian legions and it was they who destroyed the Temple and literally gutted the Jews as they fled. Titus wanted the Temple for himself. So “his” people is referring to Arabs (thereby Muslims) and the prince who signs the “covenant” for seven years is the Assyrian, the Antichrist. Also, we use the word “anti” for the Antichrist, which means the opposite – if the Jews and Christians are on one side, who is then the “opposite”? Islam. Not to forget that every nation attacked by Jesus when He returns is an Islamic nation kind of puts the whole Catholic thing to rest. Also the Antichrist isn’t a homosexual because of what Daniel eleven verse 37 says, but that the Antichrist will not regard the God of his father (Abraham via Ishmael?), but also will not regard the desire of women. I can understand with the growth of homosexuality how one could come to this understanding, but when you study Islam you really see that the meaning is that women have no say in anything because they’re second class citizen. This is why when a woman is raped in Islamic nations, SHE is the one punished for being provocative.

Revelation 16 says the kings (plural) of the east will come and cross the Euphrates River. If you look at a map (http://g.co/maps/uuc9m) of the eastern part of the Middle East you can see the Muslim nations (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan) would come to Babylon to march together to Har Meggedo. It’s not likely China would enter the Middle East via land due to the Himalayas. Why do people pick China? Because they mix the “army” number of 200 thousand thousand in Revelation 9 with “kings of the east” from chapter 16 and when you do that you figure only, incorrectly, that China could fit the bill with that many military members. India has a potential army of 319 million, why not choose them? China has a potential army of 385 million but currently has only 2.2 million on active duty. The FACT is that the two need not be mixed to understand. If the Caliphate calls for every able bodied Muslim to come and fight you could get that number from the Muslim countries I mentioned with only half their combined population of 385 million. My point is that all the end time events revolve around the age old battle between Isaac and Ishmael.

Finally, since so many use Paul’s words about the mystery of the Church, it’s applied to “mystery” Babylon and since Babylon hasn’t been around for thousands of year, it must mean some other “church”. The “evil” Catholics were in power so they were an easy target. Yet I say, that’s private interpretation, why can’t the “church” of Babylon be the religion of Babylon – Islam? What great lie than to have a pseudo-Jesus return to Jerusalem (a city of seven hills by the way – as recorded in The Book of Legends, edited by Bialik and Ravnitzky, p. 371, paragraph 111) and proclaim himself God? Also, what “wine” has the world become drunk? But if you look at this whole thing as being Islam, the “wine” is oil. Now we have something to hold onto in order to understand such a reference. Surely we all agree the world would do anything for that “black gold”.

I hope this helps shed some light or at least sparks the idea to re-evaluate the whole Catholic Antichrist idea. Re-examine all given prophecies with Islam in mind and you’ll see how easy it is to fit everything together.

God Bless 🙂

Calendar Changes

In an online book called “Recovering the Lost World” (2010), the author Jno Cook explains that all the ancient literature, mythologies, and legends speak the same story worldwide: that the moon, Saturn, and Mars were once much closer to the earth; enough to cause horrific chaos, including the biblical account of the Flood. As outlandish as it sounds, this would explain almost every question about ancient calendars and why they changed worldwide twice between 720 BC and 685 BC. It was during this time that the axis of the earth shifted enough to turn the land of “milk and honey” into baron rock and dust over time – “climate change”! Al Gore would be proud.

According to a book called “The Mars-Earth Wars” (1996) Mars had five “flybys” so close to the earth that it was the cause of the flood, shortening the length of the lunar month to 29.5 days, and lengthening the solar year to 365.25 days. I cannot refute their claims, but it does provide an understanding to how the length of time in Scriptures of old were different than today. Immanuel Velikovsky also wrote in “Worlds in Collision” that the old Babylonian, Assyrian, Persian, Egyptian, Chinese, Roman (during the time of Romulus), Hindu, and Mayan calendars contained twelve 30-day months. This fact eludes scientists today because they refuse to look at these ancient writings as true accounts and dismiss them as sloppy mathematics. Even an astounding, well-known book describes Mars’ moons (which are far too small to see with the naked eye – today that is). Gulliver’s Travels, written in 1726 by Jonathan Swift, in the “Voyage to Laputa”, the astronomers discover two moons of Mars. Today, scientists credit the discovery of the moons of Mars to Asaph Hall, who discovered them in 1877, 150 year after the writings of Jonathan Swift. Because Jonathan Swift’s book is indeed fiction, they chalk it up to coincidence. However, the names were given Phobos meaning panic/fear and Deimos meaning terror/dread that, according to Greek mythology, traveled with their father Ares (Mars), the god of war, into battle. How did the ancient Greeks know what Jonathan Swift knew? All over the world, the legends, stories, and myths, depict Mars are being fearful and evil. According to these books, the closer Mars would get to the earth on its flybys, huge earthquakes would occur and massive lightning strikes between the two planets would occur. Everyone on the planet would certainly witness this kind of event. The stories, naming, and visibility of Mars’ moons were chronicled.

As shown in Psalms 82:5 KJV, the foundations of the earth are out of their courses. Because of the sins of man, God changed His perfect dance of the earth, moon, and sun into chaos for a while. He did changed it again for Hezekiah and Joshua by making the shadow on the sun dial go back ten degrees and hold the sun and the moon in place for the length of almost a day, respectively. Science cannot explain this because they reject the notion that the current placement of our solar system wasn’t always so.

Even during Jesus’ crucifixion something occurred. The “eclipse” could not have been the moon because the moon is full during Passover, which means that the earth is between the moon and the sun. So what caused the darkness?

Matthew 27:45 KJV “Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.”

It is my belief that the darkness was God. When He visited Abram it was in a horror of great darkness and God spoke to Moses from a thick darkness.

Genesis 15:12 KJV “And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.”

Deuteronomy 5:22 KJV “These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.”

God has promised that all the chaos would return in the last days. Here are a few verses:

Isaiah 13:9-13 KJV “Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.”

Joel 2:30-31 KJV “And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.”

Luke 21:25-26 KJV “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”

Revelation 8:12 KJV “And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.”

Now if you read this last verse carefully, you’ll notice that the only way to have the sun, moon, stars, night and day shine a third less, would be if the earth’s rotation increased by eight hours. Therefore, a day would no longer be 24 hours, but 18 hours long. So horrific will the last days be that Jesus Himself states:

Matthew 24:22 KJV “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”

If you do some homework, you’ll come across an idea that Hezekiah was the first to increase the calendar, but if you read Scripture, Hezekiah repaired that Temple and called Israel and Judah to repent. This happened in Nisan and they did not finish sanctifying the House of the Lord nor themselves until the sixteenth of Nisan – after the date they should have had the Passover. Not having kept the Passover for so long, Hezekiah calls all of Israel and Judah to come to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover in the second month, the month Iyyar. So many people came that they had to enlist the help of the non-priest Levites to help with the sacrifices. They kept the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days and when it was finished, asked to keep an additional seven days with great joy. Many claim that this is proof that the calendar changed. I do not believe this to be true because the changing of the sun’s shadow didn’t happen until many years later. Sadly, there is a lot of open debate on this topic in the Talmud (Tractate Sanhedrin), but that is because they choose their oral traditions over Scripture, or more accurately, their traditions blind them. I just want to point out that this story shows that though God commands men to keep His word, He is flexible and forgiving when it comes to the matter of the heart; whether it be humbled and repentant or not. (II Chronicles 29-32 KJV; II Kings 18-20 KJV; Isaiah 36 KJV)

Finally, Scripture implies that the calendar will revert to a 360-day year again. Daniel prophesied that when the antichrist desolates the temple, 1290 days would pass before the end. Daniel 12:7 KJV and John in Revelation 12:14 KJV speak of time, times, and half a time. Revelation 11:2 KJV and 13:5 KJV speak about the passage of 42 months before the end. Revelation 11:3 KJV says the two prophets will preach for 1260 days, and in 12:6, the “woman”, i.e. Israel, would be carried away and protected for 1260 days. If a “time” is a year, then a “time, times and half a time” would be 3.5 years. 1260 days is exactly 3.5 years in a 360-day year, as is 42 months containing 30-day months! But Daniel says from the desolation to the end is 1290 days. If you count from 1 Nisan 3.5 years you get 1 Tishri, the day I believe Jesus will return to begin His reign on earth, at the Feast of Trumpets!

Deliverance or Discipline

This is by no means an admonishment but encouragement. The word repent means to change one’s mind. I’m writing to help you change your mind.

First, God loves you and through Jesus you are holy, righteous, you are dead to sin so you are not weak, fallible and no longer a sinner (because you’re dead and if dead, no longer subject to the Law, no Law, no sin Romans 7), but a child of God.

You cannot be tempted with that which you do not want. You can set in front of me all the alcohol in the world and all of the very best of tobacco, but I am not going to be tempted. Why? Because I don’t want it. However, put a cookie, or chocolate or worse a chocolate chip cookie and I’m all over them. We all have vices and faults, this is the “old man”.

Romans 6:6 (KJV) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

HOW then pray tell, do we “not serve sin”? I’m glad you asked 🙂

James 4:7 (KJV) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
  1. Submit to God – focus on Jesus
  2. Resist the devil
  3. Have the victory

Repeated here:

Hebrews 12:1-3 (KJV) Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
  1. Understand we’re being watched
  2. Run with patience (don’t look for a quick “fix”) – the “race” is our lives
  3. Look to Jesus

Read these verses:

Galatians 5:22-24 (KJV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

First these are G I F T S. You cannot do it on your own. So you must take them as gifts from the Holy Spirit. If you study the word salvation in the Hebrew Scriptures, you’ll find that salvation is salvation from the troubles of this life; that doesn’t mean smooth sailing, but surviving the troubles through God’s salvation. If you look up salvation in Hebrew, you’ll see the word yeshua meaning salvation and is the name of Jesus. We cannot save our lives from hell, and just as helpless, we cannot save our lives. It is all about grace.

Philippians 4:8-9 (KJV) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

When you focus on Jesus and listen to the Holy Spirit and think on the pure, wholesome, things, you will find you have the gift of temperance – self-control.

Believe me you are so close to being free because you recognize your plight. Paul devote all of Romans 7 to this issue. Read the entire chapter, but for now, look at this:

Romans 7:24-25 (KJV) O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Paul says, and here’s the key, “WITH MY MIND I SERVE THE LAW OF GOD”.

Isaiah 26:3 (KJV) Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.Philippians 4:7 (KJV) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Once you have deliverance, you have to have the discipline to keep out the temptations. By focusing on Jesus, praying without ceasing in the Spirit, you will loose the chains you find yourself bound in. It’s all the Lord’s doing and not man’s:

Psalms 116:16 (KJV) O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

You are no longer condemned. You have grace for your failings until you live by faith – for the just shall live by faith and it is through faith we please God, and not only to overcome evil, but to trust the Spirit to be moved to do His will and make a difference in this world. God loves you so very much!

Jesus brought truth and grace and fulfilled the law in the flesh.

John 1:17 (KJV) “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.”Romans 8:3-4 (KJV) “For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

None of us can do that. As we were prisoners of the Law, Jesus made us prisoners of Righteousness. We are transformed from the enemy of God to the sons of God through Jesus. This is reiterated in the event of the Mount of Transfiguration.

Matthew 17:1-8 (KJV) “And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.”

Just in the name of those that attend is a great revelation:

Peter means Stone (the Law); James comes from Jacob which means the supplanter, i.e. replaces; and John means favored of God – grace. Just by their names you can see the mission of the Lord here on earth:

Salvation comes by taking the law and replacing it with grace.

Peter being so fearful, tried to honor the event by wanting to erect a monument to Moses, Jesus and Elijah. The problem was so sever that God the Father Himself spoke, affirming that Jesus was His beloved and that they were to listen to Him. Peter tried to lower Jesus and elevate the Law and the Prophets, but Jesus came to fulfill the Law, which kills, and fulfill the prophecies spoken by Him about Himself in the words of the prophets. Jesus gave the Law to Moses to show that man cannot, even if he so wishes to, keep the Law. The prophets gave hope of another way. What is the thing that the devil and man succeeded in doing with the Law? Cheapen it and hold man hostage through condemnation and guilt. Even Christians today are filled with this same mentality. But what was the first thing Jesus said after the Father said to listen to Him? “Arise, and be not afraid!”

The Pharisees cheapened the Law by making it “manageable” for man to think righteousness was obtainable. But under the Law, the judgment exceeds the sacrifice as is illustrated when Elijah fought with the prophets of Ba’al and had water poured on the sacrifice. When God responded, not only was the sacrifice consumed, but the wood, stone alter, water and even the dust. When Jesus taught the Law this is what He said:

Matthew 5:27-29 (KJV) “Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.”

Jesus restored the impossibility of keeping the Law back to it’s original intent. God never wanted the Israelites to accept the Law. From Abraham to Mount Sinai they lived under grace! No one died despite their murmurings and complaints. Yet, as soon as they arrogantly said they could keep the Law, they built an idol of gold and worshiped it. Three thousand died that day. When, on the same day, the day of Pentecost, they received the Holy Spirit and three thousand were saved. The Law kills, Grace gives life!

Where the Law, written on stone revived sin which kills us, is the ministry of death.

II Corinthians 3:6-11 (KJV) “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.”

The only thing written in stone was the Law – the ten commandments. If we could keep the Law, then why did Jesus have to come!

Since this was one of my biggest issues with this correct thinking, I’m going to address the following:

Romans 8:1-2 (KJV) “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

Prosperity preachers stop quoting this verse after they say “Christ Jesus”, but the Spirit put it in there. I’ve even heard some say the next part of the verse was added by legalists. Yet, I contend that we are not the ones walking after Salvation, but the Spirit, therefore there is no condemnation which are in Christ Jesus. The Spirit wouldn’t qualify that else we’re back to the Law: do good get good; do bad get bad. Is it not the Spirit that quickens us?

Ephesians 2:5-7 (KJV) “Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.”

Since we’re dead, how can we be subject to sin?

Romans 6:1-2 (KJV) “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?”

Understand God loves us personally, that we are dead to sin, and quickened to the life in Christ Jesus, there IS no more condemnation. There’s no condition. We walk simply in faith just as we are saved by faith. Do you not understand that we are sheep and prisoners? What on earth do they have in common? They must both be taken care of. The means to DO is not within them. They follow the Shepherd or the Warden.

Romans 4:13-16 (KJV) “For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,”

This is a truth: if we are heirs of the world, now can we do that sickly or poor? It’s the devil that steals these promises. Don’t believe that kind of thinking, then read this verse:

I John 4:17 (KJV) “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

“…because as he is, so are we in this world”! This isn’t a future promise, but one of His grace on us NOW, HERE on earth! Hallelujah! Glory to God!

How is this possible? God loves GRACE. Understand that even under the days of the Law, God loved Grace. When the disciples where hungry and walking through a field they began to pluck the food and eat it and it was the Sabbath and the Pharisees pointed out the Law. This is what Jesus said:

Matthew 12:7 (KJV) “But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.”Hosea 6:6 (KJV) “For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.”

We are guiltless, not sinless when we accept the Lord into our hearts. Stop focusing on the sin and focus on Jesus and His Grace towards us. We are guiltless because Jesus paid our debt of sin! The Holy Spirit lives within us to guide us away from our old man – who is still alive in our flesh. We still retain the knowledge of good and evil, but now it’s time to focus on the Tree of Life – Jesus! When God looks at us, though we still retain sin within, He sees Jesus and we are found guiltless! Just like the ark of the covenant. When God would look down all He saw was the blood on the Mercy Seat even though the Law still remained within the ark. We are the ark, the Law still remains within us, but we’re sprinkled with the blood of Jesus and so we are now GUILTLESS!!! We look for peace within when all we find is the Law and thus sin within. We need to look to the cross and wait patiently for the day the Lord returns and gives us new bodies!

So, reject commendation and guilt. Nothing is passed over by God, yet nothing is imputed to me, for Jesus Christ was judged on the cross for them all.

When Jesus came He brought grace and truth. John says:

John 1:16 (KJV) “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.”

In Greek the verse can be interpret as “And as a result of His complete fullness we ourselves all receive, even Grace in addition to Grace.”

Rejoice, sing a song, dance to the Lord! I pray this helps you.
